It has been two years since the death of Merritt Heyward’s husband, Cal, when she receives unexpected news—Cal’s family home in Beaufort, South Carolina, bequeathed by Cal’s reclusive grandmother, now belongs to Merritt.

Charting the course of an uncertain life—and feeling guilt from her husband’s tragic death—Merritt travels from her home in Maine to Beaufort, where the secrets of Cal’s unspoken-of past reside among the pluff mud and jasmine of the ancestral Heyward home on the Bluff. This unknown legacy, now Merritt’s, will change and define her as she navigates her new life—a new life complicated by the arrival of her too young stepmother and ten-year-old half-brother.

Soon, in this house of strangers, Merritt is forced into unraveling the Heyward family past as she faces her own fears and finds the healing she needs in the salt air of the Low Country

What a beautiful, emotional story by KAREN WHITE .

I have read few books before this one by the author and I wasn’t disappointed in either of them. THE SOUND OF GLASS wasn’t any different. I fell in love with story, the characters. To me, every single of those characters became real to me, like friends and family and even if I never experienced anything like they had, I had this feeling like I could connect to every single one of them. I enjoyed reading Merritt, Loralee and Edith’s stories and each of those characters had an unique story in their own way and in a way the three women were connected to one another. I got admit that out of all those stories, Edith’s fascinated me the most and of course the mystery surrounding her, the secret project she been working on all this time and reason that Cal called her a murderer. Once the truth was recovered, I wondered because of that is why Cal ended up marrying Merritt. I wondered if he loved her like he claimed that he have. The way he treated her, put her down I had my doubts about him. It was hard to like him. I didn’t like it how he blamed her for everything, taking out all his anger on her. That doesn’t sound like love. Not to me.

Now Gibbes, how can you not love him? Him and Merritt might not seen eye to eye in beginning but he treated everyone with respect. I loved how he never pressured Merritt to do something that she wasn’t ready to. Instead he helped her, step by step. That is something that Cal never done with her. Gibbes is who she needed. He respected her and he loved her for who she was. I was waiting for Merritt to see her instead of pushing him away anytime that the two of them got close. I could tell how much Merritt meant to Gibbes and loved that he didn’t pressure her into it, instead it he took it step by step. I could see a big change in Merritt from the beginning of the novel to the end, she wasn’t the same person that she was at the start of the book. I feel like she the one character that went through a big change in the novel.

Loralee, I am not sure how I felt about her at start. There were parts that annoyed me about her, how she acted around Merritt mostly. As the book progressed and her secret was discovered, it all made sense. It was smart for her to get Merritt to get to know her brother, Owen before she even revealed anything. I had a feeling that something was wrong with Loralee but cancer did not enter my mind, not even once. I grew to love her and I was sad to let her go. There was part of me that felt that I lost a friend. It was one of most emotional books that I have read. A book that I wished I had picked up earlier that I did. An emotional, astonishing journey. I can’t wait to see what else KAREN WHITE has in store for us.

Incredible.

The summer before Ivy’s senior year is going to be golden; all bonfires, barbeques, and spending time with her best friends. For once, she will just get to be. No summer classes, none of Granddad’s intense expectations to live up to the family name. For generations, the Milbourn women have lead extraordinary lives—and died young and tragically. Granddad calls it a legacy, but Ivy considers it a curse. Why else would her mother have run off and abandoned her as a child?

But when her mother unexpectedly returns home with two young daughters in tow, all of the stories Ivy wove to protect her heart start to unravel. The very people she once trusted now speak in lies. And all of Ivy’s ambition and determination cannot defend her against the secrets of the Milbourn past….

What a heartbreaking, beautiful and inspiring story.

I was in love from the first story and felt sad when I reached the end, because I had to say goodbye at the end. I have been wanting to pick up WILD SWANS from moment that I heard JESSICA SPOSTWOOD wrote new book, who I been fan of since I read CAHILL WITCH CHRONICLES back in 2014. I even met her in 2015 at sighting, and she is one of sweetest people. Of course when I found there was going be a new book I was excited and couldn’t wait to read it. Now that I have read it, I wished that I have read it before I had. WILD SWANS was heartbreaking and I found my heart breaking for Ivy, especially when it came to her mother, and later Alex. Yet, I couldn’t put it down because of emotions that were going through me, I felt like I became part of Ivy’s life and to me, she was real. I wanted to see how it would all end for her. Of course I was rooting for some sort of happy ending for her, especially with everything that she went through.

Alex, Connor . I loved Alex, at least in the beginning of the book I did. He seemed to know Ivy like nobody else did and was there when nobody else was. I was glad that Ivy had someone like that and I knew she would need it more once her mother arrived. That till he started acting like a jealous ex boyfriend, even thought Ivy made it clear that she wasn’t interested in him like that. I hated how he treated her afterwards, as if she didn’t matter. I understand that he was hurt because of rejection but that didn’t give him right to treat her like that. I felt bad for Ivy, he was her best friend and bailed on her when she needed him the most. What sort of friend does that? I couldn’t find it in me to like him after that, considering that I adored Ivy. Connor was good for Ivy, I could see that there was some sort of spark between two of them, even before the two of them kissed. I loved that Connor loved her for who she was and didn’t push her into anything, kind of like he grandfather seemed to. I am kind of curious what happened between the two of them after that ending. Of course I had hoped for the best, because she deserved her happy ending.

I never hated any Character’s parent as much as I hated Ivy’s mother. It hard to not dislike her. She was disrespectful towards her father, Ivy and her daughters. Not once did she say thank you to her father for letting her come and stay. She embrassed Ivy in front of others by yelling at her in public place. In the end , history seemed to repeat itself when she left her other two daughters behind. What type of parent does that? I was waiting to see for he to change but that never happened. WILD SWANS was filled with a lot emotions, there were so many that went through me while I was reading the novel. I couldn’t get enough of it. Every page had me craving for more till I reached end of the book. Once I did, I found myself wondering what happened to the characters afterwards, especially her mother, if she got her act together. A novel that I see myself re-reading in future. A story that will stay with me with years to come.

Astonishing story about family, forgiveness, hope and love. A story that will have you on edge of seat, and stay with you.

Sierra's family runs a Christmas tree farm in Oregon—it's a bucolic setting for a girl to grow up in, except that every year, they pack up and move to California to set up their Christmas tree lot for the season. So Sierra lives two lives: her life in Oregon and her life at Christmas. And leaving one always means missing the other.

Until this particular Christmas, when Sierra meets Caleb, and one life eclipses the other.

By reputation, Caleb is not your perfect guy: years ago, he made an enormous mistake and has been paying for it ever since. But Sierra sees beyond Caleb's past and becomes determined to help him find forgiveness and, maybe, redemption. As disapproval, misconceptions, and suspicions swirl around them, Caleb and Sierra discover the one thing that transcends all else: true love.

Have you ever come across a story, the one that stays with you long after you finish it? WHAT LIGHT was that story for me, I was thinking about it even once I reached the end. I couldn’t help but wonder, What’s next for Caleb and Sierra. Will their relationship last? What a beautiful, inspirational story. WHAT LIGHT will stay with you long after you reach the end and make you crave for more. I’m in love. I couldn’t put this book down from second that I picked it up, I actually had force myself to put it down because I had work the next morning. If I could read it all night, I would had. It’s a heartbreaking story that will have you on edge of your seat.

I loved Sierra and Caleb. First of all, I love both of their names, especially Sierra a name that is not used often and I felt like it fit the character. You can’t help but love them, especially Sierra. She was the type of girl that I would loved to be friends with, she’s sweet, friendly and will do anything for people that she loves. You can’t help but love her. Caleb, I had a hard time believing the rumors especially considering what he did for other families. There was part of me that hoped that it was nothing but a rumor. Once I found the truth, I felt sorry for him and I could tell that it was a guilt that he cared with him for so long, I can’t even begin to imagine how it must been for him. Sierra was good for him, and it felt like she was only one who seemed to believe in him, believe that he meant no hard to his sister. What the two of them had, it was special, it was true love. I could tell way they were around each other, always happy to see and way that Sierra defended him when everyone judged him, even her friends. I was rooting for them, I hoped they find way to make this work, Most of the scenes between two of them had me smiling, especially the end, that was magical.

I had been a big JAY ASHER fan since I came across his debut novel THIRTEEN REASONS WHY back in 2011 when a friend of mine recommended the book. Like this one, I fell in love with it and read it multiple times. It was a book that I found myself being able to relate to. Of course when I found he was writing a new book, I knew I had to check out. I wasn’t disappointed. It was astonishing. Not only is Asher is a great writer that will keep their reader’s curiosity till end, but one of nicest people I met. I have read couple Christmas stories before but this was one of my favorites. If you want get into sprit of Christmas, WHAT LIGHT is a book that you should be picking up.

Beautiful story about family, true love and forgiveness. I wish that I could give this book more than five stars. I am eager to see what adventures JAY ASHER has in store for us next

An unforgettable story about friendship and love.

When I first came across KISS CAM while on Swoon reads what had caught my attention was the title, Kiss Cam, how can you not be curious about a title like that? That was one of the things that actually caught my attention. I feel like the title was what had caught my attention and had me curious about the story. Once I had read the summary of the book, my curiosity picked up even more. Kissing Cam between two friends, even if they assured that there was nothing there and it was for their viewers, for fun, I wasn’t so sure about it. I had a feeling that nothing good could come out of it. I had a feeling that despite what they told one another, somebody would end up hurt in the end. Even I could tell that there was something there, before they did. Mostly because of way that they acted with each other, before the kissing segment. It was not long that I found myself rooting for Jasper and Juniper just the way that their fans, viewers were.

I had heard of Vlog channels but I never seen one, or knew how it was done. Even though I knew that this was all fictional, I felt like I learned more about Vlog that I had known prior to reading the novel. It’s actually pretty interesting concept, at least that what I got by following Juniper, Jasper and Lenny through this book. Part of me felt like I was one of their viewers, followers that was eager to see what they would come up with next. Emotions in KISS CAM were so vivid that I felt like I was experiencing those emotions along with Juniper. I felt her happiness, annoyance, confusion and love. I loved the relationship between her and Jasper, it was clear to anyone that they cared about one another. I just wish that Juniper realized how much Jasper meant to her before she almost ruined the years of friendship, because she was confused, because she didn’t want ruin the friendship that they had. I wish that she seen it much sooner. I found myself waiting for her to realize what mistake she made.

I couldn’t get enough of Jasper and Juniper’s story. Every page, every chapter had me craving for more. A beautiful, heartbreaking story. I can’t wait to see what KIARA LONDON has in store for us next.

Excerpt from Tell Me Again

"I need to help you. I need to make it better so we're even."

"Even?"

She nodded. "I can't owe you."

"You don't owe me."

"We have a working relationship I can handle," she said, dropping the towel to her desk and pressing the ice pack between her fingers. She welcomed the burn of the cold against her fingertips. "Then you go and play the hero."

He laughed again. "I'm not a hero."

"That's not how I remember it," she murmured, focusing her gaze on his shirt collar when it became too difficult to meet his eyes.

"What sort of working relationship do we have when you pretend I don't exist any time I'm here without Grace?"

"The kind that doesn't make me crazy."

"Is that how you treat a hero?"

She laughed despite herself. "It is when I'm pretending you don't exist because I want to rip off all your clothes and plaster myself to you every time we're together."

He raised one brow. "That doesn't sound quite right to me."

Embarrassment washed through her, but Trevor stepped into her space, crowding her, when she would have turned away.

"A better idea would be if we both had our clothes off." He traced one finger along the skin above the collar of her baggy t-shirt. "What's fair is fair."

She bit down on her lip and ignored the sparks of desire that skimmed along every single one of her nerve endings. "It was actually a bad idea. Forget I said anything."

"Fat chance," he whispered and brushed his lips across hers.

It only took a second for the kiss to ignite into something hot and hungry. Even though it was the worst idea in the world, Sam lost herself in the feel of him. He tugged her closer, lifting her into his arms, and she wrapped her legs around his lean hips. He tasted the same as he had years ago, like mint and memories. He was the innocence she'd lost and everything she once longed for.

He kissed her like she was his whole world. It had been forever since she'd felt anything so perfect. His fingers tugged on the hair tie holding her bun in place and then his hands sifted through her hair. His mouth felt like it was everywhere at once--on her lips, her jaw, the sensitive spot just behind her ear that no other man had taken the time to discover.

I think I’m in love. Such beautiful, breathtaking, heartbreaking story about first love, family and second chances.

I could not get enough of Sam & Trevor’s story, I was hooked into their story from first page and even once I reached the end of story, I was wondering what could be in story for both of them next. Plus it was so beautifully written, with a lot of feelings and it wasn’t long before you imagined that you were that character and found yourself feeling all those feelings. To me, it felt like I was inside Sam’s head half of time. At same time I wanted to talk some sense into her and make her see that Travis was one for her, that the two of them belonged together. I feel like anyone could see that. How could you not? If you read about how the two of them interacted with one another and mostly way that Travis was around her, and even if he tried to deny it, to stay away from her, I could tell that it didn’t work well. It was not long that instead of staying away, he was doing anything to help her or just be near her. The way he came to that girl’s funeral because he knew that she needed someone there for support, even though he was terrified of flying. I know he wouldn’t done that unless he really cared about her. You could see the connection between two of them when they were together. I think that two of each other never got over each other, that there was always something there between two of them. I was just waiting for them to see that. I was rooting for them the whole way.

I loved way that Sam was with her niece, Grace. The two of them seemed to establish a bond pretty fast. I just wish that Travis told her about her, that he didn’t wait till Grace herself tracked her down. I did feel for him, for having raise a teenage girl by himself. It feels like he needed someone like Sam to help him out. To have a women in their life, someone Grace could trust and come for advice to. Even though I did feel like Travis was bit overprotective over Grace, thought I know he did it because he loved her. It couldn’t been easy to raise a teenage daughter on his own. I could tell how much he loved Grace, even if she didn’t always seemed see it that way. Grace tended run to Sam if something didn’t go her way. I was glad that she was finally found a woman, the one that she could trust. It feels that it was something that Grace was missing in her life. I found myself wondering how it was all going to come to end, and I wasn’t disappointed.

TELL ME AGAIN was the first novel that I read by MICHELLE MAJOR and it won’t be the last one. I aleready have this feeling that I am going love her other adventures that she has in store for us. I loved both the cover and the title for the book, it fit the story perfectly for Sam and Travis. I feel that any reader would be hooked by just looking over at the beautiful cover. Just look at it, how can you not be curious. I’m honored and grateful that I got to read this astonishing story. I fell in love with every single character but especially with Sam and Travis.

A love story you won’t be able to forget.
