In this second book of the City Love trilogy by bestselling author Susane Colasanti, three girls share a Manhattan apartment the summer before college begins. Lost in Love captures the essence of summer love, self-discovery, and sisterhood, a perfect fit for fans of Sarah Dessen, Jenny Han, and Jennifer E. Smith.

Sadie was convinced that Austin was her soul mate, but after discovering his secret she wonders if she even knows him at all. Darcy was all about fun boy adventures with no strings attached . . . until her ex moves to New York City to win her back. Things are getting serious with Rosanna and her boyfriend, but will she be able to break free of her past and let him in? With no parents, no rules, and an entire city to explore, this is the summer that will change their lives forever.

I loved this book, I loved the characters, the story. I had read CITY LOVE back in 2015 and re-read it before starting LOST IN LOVE and like with most of her books, I fell in love all over again. SUSANE COLASANTI always finds a way to make you imagine as if you are part of story. In this case, I felt I was there along with all of girls, Sadie, Darcy and Rosanna. I have been wondering what happened to all of the since I finished CITY LOVE and now that I have finished LOST IN LOVE I need to see how it all ends. I love all of Susanne’s books I read so far, but City Love has been one of my favorites. Honestly, I don’t want it to come to end because I don’t want to say goodbye to the characters that I adore. Besides it takes place in New York, and I been there few times and I love it, and after reading it, I want to go back and visit it again. SUSANE COLASANTI has the astonishing descriptions of the city, I can see it while I read it. I sense like I learned more about New York after reading the book. I couldn’t get enough of it and I know if it wasn’t for my job, I would read it in one day. I spent nights and my lunch break reading it, and once my break was over I had force myself to put it down.

I could tell that Sadie, Darcy and Rosanna had a special bond, an instant friendship when I read CITY LOVE . What the three of them had, was a true meaning of friendship. LOST IN LOVE There seemed to be more tension between Rosanna and Darcy and understand why, because Darcy is one person that has to worry about money due to fact that her father paying for everything, while Rosanna can barely afford groceries. I also think it was due fact that Rosanna is under a lot of stress, there is only so much that one person can handle. I just hope that it won’t affect their friendship, I hope they can resolve that issue between the two of them. I love all the girls, but Sadie she reminds me a lot of myself in a way. I have always been one of those people who like to make everyone happy, if they have something they want to talk about, I am there to listen and help in any way I can. I love helping others. The warm Fuzy that Sadie did for random people, it had me smiling, I received one of those in past from co-worker and it’s the best feeling in the world. I done few of those myself as well. How can you not love a person like that?

I think that D and Jude were my favorites from guys, though I kind of like Danny too. I kind of like Austin, but he lied to Sadie, he hurt her. I could see that he truly cared about her, I am just not too sure about him yet. I don’t want Sadie to get hurt again. Logan, don’t get me started there, I had a bad feeling about him from moment he showed up in New York, claiming that he made a mistake. Despite my thoughts about him, I did not think that he would go that low as attempt to steal the money from here. I am kind of eager to see what Darcy has in store for him. Even before she found out, I did not get vibe, that connection between her and Logan that she had with Jude, I was hoping that she would end up with him. I am still rooting for two of them, and I am hoping maybe she can win him back in the next book. D, despite how things were bit off between him and Rosanna and him in this book, I could tell how much he loves her, I am glad that she finally let him in, despite how hard it was for her. I can’t even imagine going through what she gone through. In my eyes, she’s strong.

SUSANE COLASANTI is one of my favorite writers, and one of those authors that inspires me, to keep on writing. Every time I read her book, I am inspired to work on a book I am writing which I hope to finish soon. I have never met her, but hope to some day but talked her few times, she is a sweetheart. I am so happy I discovered her books. I wish I could give her books more than five stars, it deserves so much more. I can’t wait to pick up FOREVER IN LOVE which I got from library and see what’s in store for Sadie, Darcy and Rosanna next and how their stories will end.

Another beautifully written novel.

Fighter. Faker. Student. Spy.

Seventeen-year-old Reagan Elizabeth Hillis is used to changing identities overnight, lying to every friend she’s ever had, and pushing away anyone who gets too close. Trained in mortal combat and weaponry her entire life, Reagan is expected to follow in her parents’ footsteps and join the ranks of the most powerful top-secret agency in the world, the Black Angels. Falling in love with the boy next door was never part of the plan. Now Reagan must decide: Will she use her incredible talents and lead the dangerous life she was born into, or throw it all away to follow her heart and embrace the normal life she’s always wanted? And does she even have a choice?

I have always been a big fan of spy, action filled stories. When I came across YOU DON’T KNOW MY NAME while I was on Swoon Reads, I was hooked from the summary on the book. Before I even started reading the book, I had a good feeling about the book, like I was going to love it. I was right, from first page, a reader will find themselves sucked into Reagan’s story. I couldn’t get enough of it, there was always something going on, every single page and hard to put it down, because you wanted to know what would happen with Reagan next. From start of book, I wondered if this is a life that Reagan wanted, to be a Black Angel and to always put her life in danger and be on constant run liker her family and her seemed to be. There always seemed to be someone after them. I had a feeling that one of those days, that one day they wouldn’t be able to escape, that something would go wrong. It was matter of time. When Reagan’s parents were taken, I felt just like Reagan had: Scared, angry but the main that I hoped they would be able to get to her parents, before it was too late.

YOU DON’T KNOW MY NAME is my type of book, it was action filled, that would get your heart racing because you didn’t know what would happen next. I loved how Luke stood by Reagan side, even after how she hurt him, and found out what her family was. Even if he didn’t have to go with her, to rescue her parents, he did. You could tell that there was something between the two of them from start, just the way that the two of them were when they were around each other. I felt as if that was one of the times that Reagan was truly happy. I think that Reagan can make it through this, as long as she has Luke by her side. I am rooting for the both. KRISTEN ORLANDO debut novel will have you wanting for more, especially once you reach the end of the novel.

That ending, I don’t remember last time I got emotional, like I have when I reached the ending of book. I was hoping that it wouldn’t came to that. I can’t even begin to imagine how Reagan must felt after that moment, how heartbroken, and angry she must have felt. The ending had me wishing that the 2nd book was out already, so that I can see what happens next. If I could give this book more than five stars, I would. Do you love spy, action stories? YOU DON’T KNOW MY NAME is a book to check out. You will fall in love.

Another astonishing novel by MICHELLE MADOW .

I have been fan of Michelle ever since I read her first book REMEMBRANCE back in 2012 and I always looked forward to her books. When I heard that she is writing a vampire series, I knew that I had check out. I am big vampire fan and have read a lot books about vampires through years. THE VAMPIRE WISH was unlike any other vampire books that I have read in the past and that was one of the things that I loved about it, this book was unique. I couldn’t get enough of story, it was breathtaking. THE VAMPIRE WISH had so much going on, and there was not a single moment where you would want to put it down. Every page, every chapter had you wondering what would happen next in the book. I know that if it weren’t for work, I would ended up reading all day. I was curious to see if Annika would escape, if she would be turned to Vampire and what would happen between her and Jacen. I could not get enough of those characters.

I loved fact that the story was told from multiple point of view, it fit the story well. I feel that way we got to know each character better. My favorites were Annika and Jacen. I could tell that there were connection between two of them right a way. I can see why Jacen didn’t want to tell Annika who he was right away. I am pretty sure if he knew who he was, they wouldn’t kiss. I could see from the moment that the two of them, there was connection between the two of them. I was hoping that the two of them would be able to escape the Vale together. Everything in this book was magical, the descriptions were so vivid that I could imagine myself being in Vale along with everyone else. MICHELLE MADOW brought the magical world to life for me.

Like with her others book, I fell in love, with the characters, the story. Once I reached the ending, I wanted to pick up THE VAMPIRE PRINCE right away and see what happens next with everyone. It was magical.

A breathtaking, astonish debut novel.

Did you ever come across novel that you didn’t want to end? KISSING MAX HOLDEN was that novel for me, I got so into the story which had me feeling as if I was part of story. I didn’t want it to come to end, I didn’t want to say goodbye to everyone, especially Jillian and Max. It was impossible to not love the characters in this book, expect for Becky and Jillian’s Dad, her dad was back and forth between liking him and then not. By end I did not like him but in a book I kept going back and forth. There were a lot of emotions that went through me while I was reading KISSING MAX HOLDEN and the way that emotions were portrayed in the book, I felt as if I was feeling those emotions among with the characters. KISSING MAX HOLDEN was an emotional novel and I couldn’t seem to pull myself from it, I needed to know what would happen next, especially with Max and Jillian. has a way to pull her readers into story from the start to the end.

Jillian and Max had an interesting relationship. When I first started reading it, when the two of them kissed for first time, I had feeling that it couldn’t lead to anything good especially since he was drunk, and still with Beth when the two of them kissed for first time. I know that Max cared about her but I didn’t think he cared about her more than that, especially since he was drunk when he kissed her, and went back to Beth despite how she treated him. I had this feeling that Jillian would end up getting hurt by him. I could tell that Jillian seemed to care about him a lot more, just way that she kept coming to his rescue. As a book progressed, I could see the change in Max and he seemed happier whenever he was around Jillian. It was not long before I saw how deeply he cared for her, that he loved her. Like Max I hoped that she would tell her father soon so the two of them wouldn’t have hide anymore. I don’t blame her for not telling him right away, especially after finding her father with his mistress. I cannot imagine the hurt, the anger and the betrayal that went through her at that moment.

I tried to like Jillian’s father and as I said I kept going back and forth. Like Meredith, I suspected that there was something going on. I mean, he was too busy to be there for his wife when she had the baby? I felt like there was a red flag right there. I liked Meredith, and I loved how she was with Jillian and she didn’t deserve that, neither of them did. There was one other person I did not like right from start, Becky. I hated how she treated Max, I don’t even know why he stayed with her as long as she did. How she treated Jillian even before she found out. I was glad when Max finally ended things with her for good. He deserved so much better. The way that Jillian and Max were around each other, that’s love. The two of them needed each other and I hoped a happy ending for both of them.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t love about KISSING MAX HOLDEN I fell in love from the first page, and I still find myself thinking about the book, the characters after finishing. KATY UPPERMAN did an astonishing job, and I am already craving for her next novel. I was lucky enough to meet her at launch party where I live, and she’s one of nicest people I met, I am so happy for her, Congrats again Katy! Not only was story beautiful but I loved the cover, the title and it all fit perfectly.

A must read.
