SUMMARY

Life sucks when your friends are pissed at you.

Just ask Zoey Redbird – she’s become an undisputed expert on suckiness. In one week she has gone from having three boyfriends to having none, and from having a tight-knit group of friends who trusted and supported her, to being an outcast. And the worst part is, she knows it’s her own fault. Speaking of friends, the only two Zoey has left are undead, unMarked, and unable to stop bickering with each other. So who can blame her for befriending the House of Night’s newest transfer student, the majorly hot Olympic archer, James Stark?

Meanwhile, Neferet has declared a war on humans after it appears that the People of the Faith have murdered two vampyres. But Aphrodite’s latest visions show a world completely different from the High Priestess’s promises, a world full of violence, hatred, and darkness, all because of Zoey’s death—and the only way it seems she can prevent it from happening is to make things right with her friends. Zoey knows in her heart that fighting with humans is wrong. But will anyone listen to her?

Breath Taking, filled with suspense, romance and adventure. Reading Untamed had me crave for Hunted right away, especially after how it ended. By now I know that I am addicted to this series. I can’t seem to get enough. I can’t stop reading it, I don’t want to stop. Out of all House Of Night novels I read so far, Untamed has been my favorite so far. It seems like it had much more suspense, more adventure and there was more going on. Somehow there seemed to be more suspense in here, especially about Nerfret, the whole time I was wondering what she had planned. I had feeling that she had something plan for the ritual that Zoey and her friends were going do in front of whole school, but the question was what. Top of it, I was curious if Zoey’s friends forgive her or if they completely turned their backs on her. When they finally stood by her, I found myself smiling. What they have is a real friendship.

Stark: Right away I had a feeling that there was connection, between him and Zoey. Maybe because both of them were special, in their own little way. That’s why he shared something he never told anyone, because he felt the connection, he felt that he could trust her. I wasn’t happy that he died so fast. I was glad that Zoey was there with him, that he wasn’t alone. I do hope for Zoey’s sake that he would come back, and she would be able to help him. I could tell that she cared for him a lot, otherwise she wouldn’t talk to Stevie Rae about him, wouldn’t try to save him. The connection she has with him, is unlike any connection she has with Erik and Heath. I’m rooting for him, I am eager to see what happens between two of them. If he will come back for her. Hopefully their connection will still be there.

I almost don’t recognize Aphrodite; she is nothing like she was in the first couple novels. Never did I think that I would love her. I love how she’s always there for Zoey. Despite her denying it , I know that she cares for her an possibly her friends as well. You can tell that even Zoey’s friends starting to possibly accept her, of course that could be that they have no other choice. I got feeling that maybe Dairus will be one boyfriend to stay; it’s visible that both of them care about one another a lot. g I’m hoping that she won’t treat him how she treated rest of boyfriends. Erik on other hand I hated in this book, mostly because of how he treated Zoey, I understand that he was hurt but how he treated her wasn’t called for. He wasn’t being himself, it’s like the good Erik vanished.

After that unexpected ending, I am eager to find out what happens with Zoey and her friends, now that they escaped House Of Night. What adventured awaits them in Hunted.

SUMMMARY
Bloodlust and dark forces are at work at the House of Night.

Fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird's adventures at the school are about to take a mysterious turn. Those who appear to be her friends are turning out to be enemies. And oddly enough, sworn enemies are also turning into friends. So begins the gripping third installment of this highly addictive series (Romantic Times), in which Zoey's mettle will be tested like never before. Her best friend, Stevie Rae, is undead and struggling to maintain a grip on her humanity. Zoey doesn't have a clue how to help her, but she does know that anything she and Stevie Rae discover about the secretive and sinister power that's turning dead fledglings into bloodsucking monsters must be kept secret from everyone else at the House of Night, where trust has become a rare commodity.

Speaking of rare: Zoey finds herself in the very unexpected position of having three boyfriends. Mix in more than a little forbidden desire to the equation and the situation has the potential to spell social disaster of massive proportions. Then, vampyres start turning up dead. Really dead. It looks like the People of Faith, and Zoey's horrid step-loser in particular, are tired of living side-by-side with vampyres. But, as Zoey and her friends find out, things are not always what they seems.

It seems that quite few people are complaining about this series. Honestly I don’t see why, I’m hooked to House Of Night Series. To me each book hooks me more to the series. It’s filled with action, suspense, mystery, romance and drama and that’s the kind of books that I love. Chosen did have some slow parts for me and not as addicting like the first two books. It did pick up fast though and then I couldn’t pull myself away from it. Even if I read this book before, once again the story pulled me in. Despite the story being a fantasy, everything that was going on felt real to me. Vivid. Breath taking. P.C& Kristin Cast know how to capture their reader’s interest.

At this point I’m not sure how I feel about Zoey. Since Betrayed had bit of mixed feelings about her, part of me annoyed with her for what she done, another part of me still likes her despite that. I wasn’t too happy with her because she wasn’t cheating on Erik with one guy but two. Though I know that with Heath she couldn’t help it because two of them imprinted, but with Loren she should know better. I hoped that she would figure out that he was using her, that something was off about him. She should listened to Erik, or since she wasn’t being faithful to him, break it off with him, it wasn’t fair to Erik. She said she was falling in love with him, yet I have trouble believing that now. If she loved him, she wouldn’t even considering sneaking around with Loren. It felt like she didn’t care. I didn’t blame how Erik acted afterwards, yet part of me felt that maybe he was bit harsh. It seemed out of character for him. I had a feeling that keeping secret about Loren, Stevie Rae from her friends would blow up in her face.

Stevie Rae & Aphrodite: Zoey wasn’t only one changed. Both Stevie Rae and Aphrodite changed quite bit through this book. Of course Stevie Rae was brought back to death so her I could see why. Though she said she was losing her humanity, I saw bits of it still there. When she talked to Zoey sometimes it felt like the old Stevie Rae was there, ready to come out. I believe if it wasn’t for Zoey not wanting to give up on her best friend, she would have lost it. Now Aphrodite, even if she didn’t want admit it, her and Zoey actually became friends in this novel, something that I didn’t see coming. I was actually surprised that she was willing to help her with Stevie Rae. Aphrodite went a long way since the first book. In beginning I hoped that she get what is coming for her, especially how she treated everyone. Now, she’s actually becoming one of my favorites. The ending, was wow. I did feel bad for her when her mark disappeared. I can tell that being marked, meaning something to Nyx is important to her.

I’m eager to follow the next journey of Zoey and her friends. It’s going be long journey for Zoey in Untamed since most of her friends seemed to turn her back on her. Hopefully in the end they will have her back.

SUMMARY
Fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird has managed to settle in at the House of Night. She's come to terms with the vast powers the vampyre goddess, Nyx, has given her, and is getting a handle on being the new Leader of the Dark Daughters, the school's most elite group. Best of all, Zoey made some new friend and she finally feels like she belongs - like she really fits in. She actually has a boyfriend...or two.

Then the unthinkable happens: human teenagers are being killed, and all the evidence points to the House of Night, straining human-vamp tensions in Tulsa to a breaking point. While danger stalks the humans from Zoey's old life, she finds herself drawn into an intoxicating forbidden flirtation that threatens to distract her from the growing crisis. Then, when she needs her new friends the most, death strikes the House of Night. Too late, Zoey begins to realize that the very powers that make her so unique might also threaten those she loves, and she must find the courage to face a betrayal that could break her heart, he soul, and jeopardize the very fabric of her world.

Have you ever started a series and from first book had feeling you were going love it? House Of Night is that series for me. Despite this is not first time I read it, love it every single time that I pick it up. To me it seems that more the series progresses, more addicting and interesting it gets. Not only does it have a unique storyline, kick ass characters. Top of it, the titles and covers are out of this world. Betrayed right from title you can tell that something big is going to happen. The way girl is standing with her back turned ( I got feeling that it Zoey) gets you to wonder, what is she hiding? What is she thinking? That’s the thought that went through mind when came across cover first time. It’s a kick ass cover that will get any curious reader to pick it up.

I got mixed feelings about Zoey in this book. I wasn’t fond of fact that she was flirting with Loren Blake, who she knows is off limits since he’s professor and seeing Heath, behind Erik’s back. That doesn’t seem fair to him. He cares for her, I can tell that he does. Let’s hope for Zoey’s sake that he never finds out because it won’t be pretty. I hope she either breaks off with Erik or figures out whole Loren/ Heath issue before it’s too late. On other hand, I saw how much she changed since she became Dark Daughters leader, that she would do anything for loved ones. After what she did for Heath, way that she came to his rescue, there is no doubt in my mind that she loves him. She’s strong, brave and powerful and is going go long way.

Nerfret : I have a strong feeling that there is something off about her. Something isn’t right about her. Just way she was acting, way that she was telling Zoey to not trust Aprhodite. She was acting more different then we first met her in Marked. Once I reached end and found out what she did with dying fledging’s, I knew that there is something twisted about her. It got me to wonder what she could possibly be planning, but I know that it can’t be anything good. I am glad Zoey figured her out, hopefully she can figure out what. I do think she should tell her friends. Warn them.

Stevie Rae’s death made me cry. Besides Zoey she is my favorite character, love her attitude. I mostly felt sad for Zoey, she took her death the hardest. I was as upset though. I kept wondering why it was her that had die, especially after she was gifted earth affinity, it made no sense for me. I can’t even begin what went through Zoey’s mind when she saw Stevie Rae again, even if she wasn’t same what she used to. It’s an ending that will crave you for more. I know that I wanted to pick up next one right away.

Betrayed is filled with action, romance, magic and friendship. You will find yourself what Zoey and her friends will face next.

SUMMARY
The House of Night series is set in a world very much like our own, except in 16-year-old Zoey Redbird's world, vampyres have always existed. In this first book in the series, Zoey enters the House of Night, a school where, after having undergone the Change, she will train to become an adult vampire -- that is, if she makes it through the Change. Not all of those who are chosen do.

It's tough to begin a new life, away from her parents and friends, and on top of that, Zoey finds she is no average fledgling. She has been Marked as special by the vampyre Goddess, Nyx. But she is not the only fledgling at the House of Night with special powers.

When she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the school's most elite club, is misusing her Goddess-given gifts, Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage to embrace her destiny--with a little help from her new vampyre friends.

I knew there was a reason I loved the series. It’s addicting. I have come across Marked few years back when I was still in college, a friend of mine mentioned it. Since then I have read it few times but been a while, so decided to re-read it. Despite me reading the first book multiple times, I couldn’t put it out. The story was so engaging, I found myself reading most of time that I wasn’t working. Within only few pages, I was rooting for Zoey. It was a fast paced book but there wasn’t a single page where something big wasn’t happening. It’s what makes it such good book.

Zoey: I loved her from start. Once she was Marked, I knew that there must been a reason that she was Chosen to be Marked. Once she saw and talked to the Goodness, Nyx , even before she said anything, I knew that she had special plans for her. I did feel bad for her, of how her mother reacted when she was marked. Whatever happened to loving your child no matter what? There is feeling that only reason that she acted this way was because of her husband. I got a feeling that he doesn’t care about Zoey at all, unless she’s going make him look bad. It’s a good thing that she got out of that household. Good thing that she has her Grandmother, I loved the relationship between the two of them. It reminded me a lot of my grandma and me. Zoey is strong; it takes a lot of courage to go through what she did. It seemed like she was only one who didn’t let Aphrodite bully her, and decided take actions into her own hands. I know that she will do great as new leader of Dark Daughters.

Erik & Heath: I’m between two of them. Heath, I got mixed feelings about right now. Part of me doesn’t like him, don’t think that he’s right for Zoey because of his drinking; it seems that almost any time she sees him, he’s wasted. Another part of me can tell that he cares for her that he means it when he says that he loves her, even if Zoey doesn’t believe him half of time. Erik, how can you not love him? I think he would be good for Zoey and I could tell that he doesn’t only care for her because of her Mark but that he deeply cares for her. It probably be good for both of them.

Marked is filled with suspense, romance, thriller. If you love books about Vampires, this is unlike any vampire book that you read before. Once you finish Marked, you will want to pick up Betrayed right away. P.C & Kristin Cast have a way to keep reader keep on going.

SUMMARY

True love—and world war—is at stake in the conclusion to The Pledge trilogy, a dark and romantic blend of dystopia and fantasy. Charlie, otherwise known as Queen Charlaina of Ludania, has become comfortable as a leader and a ruler. She’s done admirable work to restore Ludania’s broken communications systems with other Queendoms, and she’s mastered the art of ignoring Sabara, the evil former queen whose Essence is alive within Charlie. Or so she thinks.

When the negotiation of a peace agreement with the Queendom of Astonia goes awry, Charlie receives a brutal message that threatens Ludania, and it seems her only option is to sacrifice herself in exchange for Ludanian freedom.

But things aren’t always as they seem. Charlie is walking into a trap—one set by Sabara, who is determined to reclaim the Queendoms at any cost.

This is it, we had finally reached the end. I fell in love with series from minute I picked up first novel, in 2011. At end of The Pledge, The Essence I was curious to see how it was going to come to end. Great ending to an amazing series. It actually made me a bit said that it was over, yet happy that everything somehow going back to way that it should been, for Charlie and most of the others. Even if I loved all of the books, The Offering was my favorite, I didn’t want to pull myself away from the book because I wanted to see how everything end, especially for Charlie. I was curious to see if she be able to save her country, and be free of Sabara. Plus I was curious to see what would happen with her and Max, and if Brooklyn ever forgive her. The Offering was filled with unexpected twist, suspense and action. There wasn’t a single moment that didn’t have my interest.

The Cover was completely stunning, I think that it fit the storyline well. It represented Charlie well too, at least I am assuming that It’s her. It’s a type of cover, design that would attract any reader’s attention, even if they haven’t read the series yet. It’s colorful and even the cover tells you that something big is about to happen. How can you not be curious and pick it up? I know that I was, and moment I did, knew it would be another great book and it was. A story that I would never forget.

Charlie : She had been my favorite character since Book One. I saw how much she changed through the book, especially once she became a Queen. The Offering showed how far she would go, to protect her country. Charlie made a much better Queen then Sabara ever was. I think that her become the Queen of Ludania was a positive influence on the country. Though it was a bit rough start at first, in the end she had succeeded. Top of that she was finally free of Sabara, something that she was glad about. It even repaired her and Angelina’s broken relationship a bit, or at least that how it seemed like. It took a lot of courage to do what Charlie went through. Despite what happened, how Sabrara kept wanting take control, she kept on going. She’s strong. A Fighter.

I am going miss all the characters. A one series that I don’t regret picking up. It had my attention from the first book till the last. I am eager to see what Derting will come up with next. After reading The Pledge she has become one of my favorites. So far any books of hers I read, keeps me on edge of seat. I am always excited for her books to come out.

SUMMARY
Sydney Sage is an Alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of humans and vampires. They protect vampire secrets - and human lives.
In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .

But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure — and re-education — looms larger than ever.

Oh my God, that ending. I didn’t see that coming, well I figured that eventually they would get discovered but I was sure that Sydney would find a way to escape. During the last few chapters of The Fiery Heart so many emotions were going through me. I was like everyone else, especial Adrian wondering if she was okay, curious why Adrian couldn’t seem get in touch with her through dreams when he got off the pills. Richelle Mead did an amazing job at describing everyone’s emotions during that terrible time, especially Adrian’s. I felt like I could feel him emotions and my heart broke for him. I didn’t think he could love anyone how he loved Rose, I was wrong. What he feels for Sydney seems stronger then what he felt for Rose. Richelle Mead did it again, got me hooked to another breath taking series.

Adrian & Sydney: Wow, there was so much chemistry and passion between two of them in this book. I never thought I see the day that a day would come, where Sydney would come care way that she does for Adrian. The Fiery Heart was their story. I saw how much both of them changed; I didn’t think I ever see Adrian care that much for anyone after Rose. I never thought I see day he stop drinking or going on pills for his depression. I know that he did all of this for her, because he loved her and didn’t want to lose her. I loved reading this book from both Adrian and Sydney’s point of view, I always wondered what he was thinking. To me it seemed like this book was more of Adrian’s story then Sydney’s. If I liked him before, I loved him even more after this book. I just hope that he won’t go back to his old ways because of what happened to Sydney, I know that his depression is going get even worse, till they can rescue her.

Zoe : I had bad feelings about her from moment that she came to Palm Springs. If it wasn’t for her, maybe Sydney would never been discovered. I can’t believe that her own sister turned her in. I understand that she was suspicious of her activities but I didn’t think that she would go that far, to turn her own sister in. If I didn’t like her before, now I don’t like her even more. I imagine that how most of Sydney friends is feeling too, especially Adrian. I am curious if she feel even bit quilty about it, especially she knows how Keith turned out after his re- education. I am curious where she ended up. I am also curious if she is going end up with her mother or father. To me, she is as cold as her father. I feel that she did it because she was hurt that Sydney kept blowing her off.

Richelle Mead left The Fiery Heart with such cliffhanger, it had me wishing that Silver Shadows was out aleready so I can see what’s in store for everyone next. Will they be available to rescue Sydney? Can she finally be free of Alchemists? That’s the questions that kept running in my head. I’m rooting for Sydney to make it through this.
