At 32, Russell Green has it all: a stunning wife, a lovable six year-old daughter, a successful career as an advertising executive and an expansive home in Charlotte. He is living the dream, and his marriage to the bewitching Vivian is the center of that. But underneath the shiny surface of this perfect existence, fault lines are beginning to appear...and no one is more surprised than Russ when he finds every aspect of the life he took for granted turned upside down.

In a matter of months, Russ finds himself without a job or wife, caring for his young daughter while struggling to adapt to a new and baffling reality. Throwing himself into the wilderness of single parenting, Russ embarks on a journey at once terrifying and rewarding—one that will test his abilities and his emotional resources beyond anything he ever imagined.

Powerful. Inspirational. Breathtaking.

It’s no surprise by now how big fan I am of NICHOLAS SPARKS . I had read most of his novels and own most of his books. When I found that he’s coming out with a new book, I was excited and even pre-ordered TWO BY TWO months in advance. I was eager to read it and found myself counting the days that it would be out. I have read few mixed reviews about this book, but that didn’t stop me from reading it and just like other Sparks novels, I fell in love with it. Like his other novels, TWO BY TWO filled me with a lot of emotions. I felt like I became part of Russ’s story and his family, along with all the struggles that he had face. The struggles that I hoped that he would overcome. I was on edge of my seat. I cried, I got angry and worried, all the emotions that Russ felt through the book. It was real to me.

TWO BY TWO was a bit different than the other NICHOLAS SPARKS books that I have read through the years. It dealt with love but different type of love, instead on focusing on love between main character and another woman, it mostly focused loved between Russ and his daughter. There was some love story involved but most of it was based on relationship between him and his daughter. That’s what I loved about it because it was different, was family based. I loved the relationship between the two of them, I loved to see how their relationship grew through the book. Of course, when Vivian wanted sole custody, I grew angry. I know that she’s her mother but she’s one who left and Russ was one taking care of her, it didn’t seem fair. I hoped that the two of them would be able to come to agreement when two of them would see her. I wanted to see how it would end.

I loved the relationship he had with his sister, Marge. Not many brother and sisters have the bond that the two of them had. I felt as sad as Russ did when she got sick and even when she hasn’t been feeling well, cancer was last thought on my mind. There was a part of me that hoped she would make it. I am glad that he did get spend time with her that he had left. Of course, those last few chapters of the book had left me in tears. Besides the story and the characters, I was in love with the cover. Out of all his books, TWO BY TWO was my favorite one. Even if you never read a NICHOLAS SPARKS book, the cover itself will have you picking it up.

A MUST READ. An emotional story about unconditional love. A story that you will find yourself thinking about, long after you put it down. Another masterpiece by NICHOLAS SPARKS

Seventeen-year-old conjoined twins Clara and Hailey have lived in the same small town their entire lives—no one stares at them anymore. But there are cracks in their quiet existence, and they’re slowly becoming more apparent.

Clara and Hailey are at a crossroads. Clara wants to stay close to home, avoid all attention, and study the night sky. Hailey wants to travel the world, learn from great artists, and dance with mysterious boys.

As high school graduation approaches, each twin must untangle her dreams from her sister’s, and figure out what it means to be her own person.

Touching, heartfelt story about two sister’s bond, love and the meaning of a family. I could not put the novel down, I felt as I could follow Clara and Hailey anywhere. There was a part of me that didn’t want book to come to end because I didn’t want to say goodbye. Both Clara and Hailey not only became like friends to me but I had this feeling as if they became part of my family as well. I went on the journey along with them and felt all their struggles along with them. Of course, I wanted to see what the outcome for two of them would be. Would they try to get separated? Or will they end up staying together? Those were the thoughts that I wondered from moment that I picked up the novel. There almost no words how amazed I was by this novel. It was…breathtaking.

I have heard about conjoined twins but never read a book about it. Once I came across GEMINI and read the description I knew that I had read this book. Once I started to read it, I was glad because I was engrossed into story from first page till the last page. I loved the two-different point of view from both Clara and Hailey’s point of view, that way I got to feel and to see what each of the twin was feeling. To me, it seemed that it didn’t bother Hailey as much as it bothered Clara when people stared at them and Clara didn’t like to be noticed. I was surprised that Clara didn’t end up at least try to get them separated, I assumed it’s what she wanted. I was surprised that Hailey didn’t want that, I was sure that she did too. It was not surprise that if anyone could talk Clara out of it, it’s her sister. Clara and Hailey had a special bond, with two of them being so close for 17 years so I can see why Hailey didn’t want to get separated. I knew that if they have each other that they would be all right.

I loved the ending, it was unexpected and even I didn’t see it coming, but it had me smiling and cheering them on as I was one of their friends. It was a perfect ending for such astonishing novel. I loved Alex and fact that he was one of people who didn’t seem to care or let it bother him that they were conjoined twins. That’s not the same feeling that I had about Max, he didn’t turn out way that I assumed he would. SONYA MUKHRJEE debut novel was filled with so much emotion and to me, it was real.

An incredible journey that I will never forget.

A girl forced out of her comfort zone finds that being true to herself is the best way to live her life, in this second novel from the author of For the Record.

It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Skylar Hoffman’s senior year at her preppy East Coast boarding school should have been perfect:

amazing boyfriend

the coolest friends

the most desirable dorm

But it’s far from it. To her dismay, Skylar’s not going to rule senior year because she’s stuck in Abbot House, a tiny dorm known for, well, nothing. Living with a group of strangers everyone thinks is lame is bad enough. Worse is that Skylar wasn’t exactly truthful about how she spent summer break in Los Angeles—and her little white lie is causing her once rock-solid romance to crumble fast. And when it turns out that Skylar’s best friend is the one responsible for having her booted from Lincoln? It’s an all-out war.

Stepping out of her comfort zone never felt so scary—or necessary. But everything is different now. Including, maybe, Skylar herself . . .

GOING GEEK was the first novel that I have read by CHARLOTTE HUANG and once I did, I wondered to myself why I haven’t read her earlier than I had? I have been hearing quite bit about her debut novel, FOR THE RECORD Which I am now excited to read. After reading this one, I am blown away by the characters and the story. It felt so real to me and a type of story that you can see yourself happening in real life. Everything that they were all dealing with, it sounds just like high school and the most of things that Scarlett went through. I fell in love with most of characters, especially with Scarlett and Declan, out of all of the characters in the novel, the two of them were my favorite. I needed to know how it would end for them. Most of all I was curious about the way things would end for Skylar.

Skylar went under main character change in this novel, you could tell by way she thought, and how she started doing things in different way than she did in beginning of the novel. What I loved the most about her was fact that she didn’t give up, not a single time. Despite what her old best friend tried to do, and how she tried to turn all her old friends against her. It didn’t stop her. Skylar was on a mission, the one that she wouldn’t stop till she got what she wanted to. I stil couldn’t believe what Whitney done, get her kicked out and than practically turned against her because her other best friend Lila showed up? Besides you can have more than one best friend. I guess she wasn’t a true friend with everything that she put Skylar through. I felt like Skylar was better off without her anyways. Who needs friends like these anyways? I hoped that Skylar would find wat to bring her down.

Now Declan, he’s the type of guy that every girl wants. The way he helped Skylar and was always there when she needed him, the two of them belong with one another. I was just waiting for Skylar to realize that. I just wish that she would realized it sooner than she had. I had a feeling that maybe there was a chance that she might go running back to her ex and end up breaking his heart. I was glad to find out that she didn’t. I loved the scenes between Declan and Skylar the most, you could tell that there was a connection between the two of them. I was rooting for them, hoping for their happy ending.

I loved every page. It was beautiful and filled with so much emotion. I could feel everything that Skylar was feeling. I was on edge of my seat till the end.

It’s no surprise that I am a fan of SHANE MORGAN . How can I not be? She always writes the books that you can’t pull yourself away from. STONE FILES wasn’t any different, I was on edge of my seat from the first story till the last. STONE FILES is a bit different than what SHANE MORGAN wrote in the past. I loved fact that it was mother and daughter that read the stories together, as to way to bond together even if it was clear that it scared the mother. It was as she was conflicted if to keep going with stories or not. I can’t blame her, those stories were freaky and it would scare anyone.

Despite these stories being fictional, some of them felt real to me, like it could actually happen in real life. Realistic. Like one of those unexplained events. Reading each of those stories, both the stories and the characters became real to me. I felt like I could connect to some of them. Each of the stories in compilation had a twist of their own, the twist that even you as reader didn’t see coming. I couldn’t get enough.

SHANE MORGAN did it again. I already know that she is going to go a long way, because I am already looking forward to which adventures she comes up with next.

Beautiful. Astonishing.
