. . . unless, of course, he can admit he made a mistake. But after one incredible and seemingly endless date—possibly the best in living history—Samantha is forced to admit the truth, that her family is in crisis and any kind of relationship would be impossible. Samantha begs Xavier to forget her. To remember their night together as a perfect moment, as crushing as that may be.
Only no amount of distance or time is nearly enough to forget that something between them. And the only thing better than one single perfect memory is to make a life—and even a love—worth remembering.

A must read.
Once again, I am at a loss for words. My heart felt like it had been ripped apart, just to be repaired a second later. I've read a lot of intense, heartbreaking novels, but none have affected me as much as this one has. I can see why Abby Jimenez is such a popular author, and why readers connect with her characters. Say You'll Remember Me is the second novel that I read by the author, and I already know she’ll become one of my favorite authors. Abby Jimenez is an author I wish I had read sooner, but now that I have, I can't wait to read more of her books. Say You'll Remember Me is more than just a love story; it's about devotion, sacrifice, family, and courage. I can't stop thinking about this book, and I know I won't be able to forget it for a long time.
This is the story, and I would give it more than five stars. It deserves so much more! I loved Samantha, and I love the devotion she put into taking care of her mother, and I knew that it wasn’t easy. My great grandmother had dementia, and even though I wasn’t her caregiver, I saw her decline when I saw her. It was hard. However, I can’t imagine seeing that every day and having to take care of that person. My heart broke for Samantha and her family, and there were times that I felt the fear, the heartbreak they felt. There were times that I cried.
I'm thankful that Samantha had Xavier, and I believe she made it through because he was there when she needed him. They refused to give up, no matter what was going on or how difficult the situation was.
I adored Samantha and Xavier's relationship. They had the kind of relationship that everyone desires. Every girl dream of having a boyfriend like Xavier. You could see their connection from the moment they met, and I loved how their relationship evolved; you could feel their love for each other. Long-distance relationships are difficult, and sometimes I wondered how long they would last. Throughout the novel, I found myself rooting for the two of them, hoping that they would find a way to be together. As of now, this is my favorite novel by Abby Jimenez, and I am hopeful that Samantha and Xavier will appear in the next one. If you enjoy romance with some drama, you should check this one out! Prepare for an emotional roller coaster!
