Safe Haven was one of best and favorite Nicholas Sparks novels I read, and I have read all of them. So far. However, out of all the novels that he had written so far, this one seemed be bit more on thriller side, and had quite bit of action going on. It kept you on edge of your seat, up till very end. Though I read it before, I was on edge of my seat till end. I did not want put it down. I was so observed in book, I found myself reading it for hours. If you love romance, with bit of action in mix, Nicholas Sparks is worth checking out.

  Katie: Loved her character right from start. Though at times it might seemed like it, but to me she was strong. Honestly, if I was ever in her situation, I would never be able to do what she had done. It takes a lot, to run away and start all over again, from abusive marriage. Especially considering what happened the first two times that she tried to run away, that takes a lot of courage. Not everyone can do, try to escape that life and start all over. Despite being afraid most of time, I was glad that she was able to start all over, to start a new life. However, I felt myself constantly afraid of her, afraid that her husband would figure out a way to find her, that it will all be all over for her, the life that she built. I found myself rooting for her, rooting for her to make it, to not feel afraid anymore.


Alex & Kevin: How can you not love Alex? I loved pretty much everything about him, way he was with Katie, even before they got together. How he protected her once he found out what Kevin done to her, to make sure that she was safe. Honestly, I don’t think that neither his children nor Katie would made it, be alive, if it wasn’t for him coming to their rescue at the end. I actually found myself holding my breath when Kevin hit Alex, and I prayed he make it through, after hit like that. I was glad that Katie finally met someone, who made her feel safe, who loved her for who she was. Despite that, he was an amazing father to his kids. I love the relationship that he had with his kids, and how he always made sure that they had something to do, spend time with them. Now Kevin, I hated him from beginning, I was hoping that he wouldn’t figure out how to find her. Once he did, I felt so afraid for Katie and angry for Kevin. Though I kind of felt like he did love her, but at same couldn’t understand how he claimed to love her, yet was so controlling.


What made this book slightly different then his other books? Well, this had much more suspense that his other books seemed to have. Others seemed be based more on romance, but this also had quite bit suspense. Especially once Kevin showed up, that’s when the real action began. Kevin was so close. I wasn’t only terrified what would happen, but also what would happen to the kids, since Kevin seemed to be drunk much more then he usually was. I couldn’t imagine what Alex would gone through, if he lost either of them. Despite not wanting Kevin to die, I was glad to see that Katie could finally feel safe again. Now, Carly ‘Jo’ that was a twist I did not see coming, that Katie’s neighbor end up being Alex’s late wife.

  It was an amazing read. I can’t wait to see the movie. If it’s similar to the book, be pretty amazing movie. I would recommend this book to any romance lovers.

Amazing. I loved the first book when I read it last year, it was unlike any book I read before. Unravel Me , wasn’t any different. Honestly I actually enjoyed this book, more than I enjoyed the first one. It seemed like the second one had more action, adventure. There was so much more going on, to point that I couldn’t even put the book down. Once I read the book, I knew that this was one series I was going to love, till the end. It’s unlike any book I read before.

I fell completely in love with cover, it’s so unique and unlike any other cover that I seen in the other books. It looks mysterious, and I feel like you can tell that something is going to happen, just by cover, even if you haven’t read the other book. It’s very creative, and it get any reader to pick the book. It make them wonder about the book, the story. I’m also curious if it’s Juliette, on the cover.

Adam & Warner : I was Team Adam, till I read this book, now I’m Team Warner, it’s not like I don’t like Adam, I do and if he ends up with her in end, I won’t be disappointed by it. However, I feel like there was more connection, more attraction between Juliette and Warner, then Juliette and Adam, it seemed like they were mostly arguining with each other most of book, though I can see why. In first book, I wasn’t too sure if Warner actually cared for Juliette or not, but after reading Unravel Me, I know that he does, it seems that she’s the one person that he actually cares for. Once I found out how Warner was treated by his own father, I understood why Warner was way he is. I am curious what’s going happen between Juliette and Warner next. As for Adam, I do hope things start looking up for him, it seems like everything seems to be going wrong for him lately. I felt bad for him.


Kenji : Another character I loved. I wasn’t his biggest fan in last book, to me there was something off about him, makes me glad that I was wrong about him. It seemed like he was one person that didn’t take pity on Juliette, when she was feeling sorry for herself, or mourning over what was happening with her and Adam. I think she got as far as she did, due to him. If he hasn’t pushed her, if he didn’t help her with her powers, to control her powers, who knew where she be now. In way, he had saved Juliette’s life. In way it made me hate way Adam treated him at times, when he done nothing but help them out, from the start. I’m curious what’s going happen with him next, if he actually believes that Juliette is dead, or not.


How can you not love this book? It has everything, from romance with twists, action, adventure, along with some mystery added into the mix. Plus author has unique writing style, unlike any other books that you read. You can’t help but be observed into the book, till the end. Even once you reach the end, you will be craving for more, wondering what’s going happen next for Juliette, Adam and Warner. I know I’m eager to see what’s going to come next.

From all the Jodi books I read, which is all of them actually, The Storyteller was the most intense, inspirational book that I read by her. It was completely different from the other books that I read by her. That’s what I loved about it, because it was unlike other books and was based on pretty tough subject, Holocaust. Despite being a hard, depressing subject to read about, it kept my attention till end, I could not put it down. I found myself wondering how it was going end. If you love Picoult books or historical books, this is one book that it’s worth checking out.

This is officially my new favorite Picoult novel, despite being pretty hard subject. You can’t help but love the book, the story. Though I read novels about holocaust before, back in high school, this was unlike the other books that I have read before; Picoult put a twist on it. After reading The Storyteller, I felt that I learned even more about the subject then I knew prior to reading the novel. I’m not going lie, through reading novel, especially from Minka’s point of view, I teared up multiple times. I felt scared for Minka multiple times, scared that she wasn’t going make it, even if I knew that she would. I felt angry at soldiers, how could anyone treat someone this way? Just because they are Jewish? It’s the question that I always wondered about. But I loved reading from Minka’s point of view, of her time in Poland and everything that she went through. Even if it didn’t seem like it, to me she was strong, someone who kept on going, despite what happened to her. I learned so much about her, from her story. She was my favorite.


Sage: I wasn’t sure how to feel about her at beginning of the book, she didn’t seem certain about herself. I actually liked her friendship between her and Josef, in beginning; I could tell that she enjoyed his company. Even if she wouldn’t admit it, I had feeling that she still cared for him even after she found that he was Nazi SS guard and it was one of reason she turned him in, because she couldn’t find the courage, to kill him because of her mixed feelings for him. I was glad that she actually turned him in, because it brought her to Leo, a guy who cared for her despite her past and not having to hide relationship and wanted to be with her, 100% of time. I was also glad that Leo was able to find someone too. I knew that it was them working together that brought them close together. I was glad to see Sage actually happy for a chance.


Like in her other books, I loved that book was written in different point of views, that way you get to know each character. It’s because of that, I actually found it hard to hate Josef which I knew I should have. Through reading his point of view and then finding out who he was at end, made it harder for me to hate. I loved the story in between, the story that Minka was writing, at first I wasn’t sure what it was till I figured out during Minka’s POV. It made it easier to know what they were talking about, when I read the actual story that she wrote. Honestly there wasn’t anything in this book, which I didn’t enjoy. I loved that it had stories both from Nazi SS Guard and the survivor, it made the story seem even more realistic.


The Storyteller in my opinion is book that everyone should read, you will learn a lot. You find yourself wondering what’s going happen with all the characters, especially Sage and Minka. I’m eager for next year, to see what story Picoult will come up next.

 The Look Of Love , was an amazing book. It was hard not to like the characters in the book. Especially Chase, he’s the kind of guy that I knew I was going to love through the book. How can you not love him? He’s caring, loving, and loyal. I loved fact that the book didn’t only have romance but also bit of thriller, drama, made it even more interesting to read. In general The Look Of Love was type of book that you couldn’t help but love.

To be honest, title and cover was what captured my attention first. I was surfing through Netgalley, seeing what books they got and when I came across this one, I knew that I had to read it before even reading the summary. The couple of the covers look so happy, and the title The Look of Love, I knew that there had to be a story there. The background is also stunning. You could tell by looking at the cover that it was going be a love story. A love story that I had feeling I was going to enjoy. I was right; I ended up enjoying it even more than I thought I would.


Chase : I loved the relationship between him and Chloe, in a way. I knew that Chase truly cared for Chloe and even fell in love with her, but for while I wasn’t sure if she actually felt same for him. I felt like she was using sex, like an escape for what happened to her. It felt to me like she was only using him for sex. I could tell that there was a bond, an attraction between the two of them, even if she wouldn’t admit it. At first. I thought it was cute how Chase took care of Chloe, how he rescued and even offered her place to stay, not many guys would do that. I knew that Chase cared about Chloe, from the moment that he came across her on the road. I was hoping that eventually Chloe would see how much Chase cares for her, will let him in. Will let another guy in her life.


As for Chloe, I liked her character and in way I felt bad for her. I could see why she was hesitant about letting someone else into her life. To be honest, if I was in her situation, I would feel the same way. I felt proud of her by the end, it takes so much to overcome what she gone through, especially after her ex comes back, in attempt to hurt her once again. I was afraid for her, and hoped that Chase would show up, to rescue her. Once he did, I knew that Chloe was aware how much he cared for her. I was rooting for Chloe and Chase to get together through the entire book.


Emotions were described so well in this book, both Chloe and Chase. I enjoyed fact that story was told from both Chloe & Chase’s point of view, that way I got to know both of characters pretty well. I loved them both. I don’t think I would been able chose my favorite. But the emotions, the descriptions of everything, made the story seem so much more realistic and it had my attention the entire way.

The Look Of Love is a book I would recommend for everyone, especially if you in romance. You find yourself craving for more, even after finishing the book.

Wow. The more I read The Lying Game series, the more extreme and mysterious it seems to get. I was even convinced that Becky was the killer, all the details that were described about her in the book, made it pretty convincing evidence that she was killer. That’s why I did not see the ending coming. Yet, another twist. Cross My Heart, Hope To Die kept my attention till end. I’m eager to find how it all ends, who the killer is.

The descriptions in this book, especially when Becky’s Illness came into effect, were amazing. It was because of those details that made it pretty convincing for me to believe that Becky was Sutton’s killer. Actually I was pretty sure that she was the killer, just way that she acted around Emma when she came to visit her, after her breakdown. The look on her face, her actions. I was positive that Becky was the killer, especially with her mental Illness history. How could anyone not think that she isn’t the killer? Especially once Sutton had those memories, the way that Becky was acting with her, I was even more convinced that she was the killer. That’s what I love about series, once you sure that you had it figured out, there is another unexpected twist.


Ethan & Thayer: Every time I read about Emma and Ethan’s relationship, the more it makes me smile. I love the connection that two of them have, despite everything that’s happening and fact how Emma’s life is in constant danger. I can see how much Ethan cares for Emma, how much he loves her. I found myself smiling when they finally said I Love You, to each other. Ethan is the type of guy that every girl looks for. I am happy to see, how much their relationship develops, despite Thayer being in middle of it, because he assumes that it’s Sutton, not Emma. I was glad that Emma could find someone who could make her happy. Now Thayer, despite me not being his biggest fan, I was happy to see that there were more scenes between Emma and Thayer. I could tell by way he looked at her, talked to her, that he still loves Sutton. I’m actually curious what will happen if he finds out that it’s not Sutton.


Despite me not being biggest Nisha fan, I was glad to see that her and Emma develop bond, and becoming friends instead of staying enemies. It sucked what happened to her at end, I did not see that coming. I am curious if it was murder too. I’m also curious what it was that she wanted to tell Emma, right before she ended up dead. I got feeling that now Emma is going be trying to figure out two murders, instead of one. I’m getting more eager, to see how it all ends. At same time sad that all of this is going to come to end soon. It’s one of most addicting, mysterious series I have read, it keeps you wanting more.
