When Joe Mitchell launches into space, the world is watching. It’s 1968, and the country waits with anticipation and excitement for another successful mission, another celebration as America sets its sights on the Moon. And then comes the knock at the door.

Joe Mitchell’s spacecraft has lost contact. He and his fellow astronauts onboard are feared to be dead. It’s his wife Vivian’s worst nightmare come to life, her grief suddenly taking center stage as the nation waits and mourns. In her quiet moments, Vivian relives their memorable story, unable to accept that this is the end to a love that felt as though it was written in the stars.

As the investigation surrounding Joe’s lost spacecraft intensifies and the mishap is written off as an operator error, Vivian is determined to clear her husband’s name and uncover the mystery of what happened in space. When someone starts sending Vivian messages—messages she believes only Joe could send—she begins to wonder if their love is stronger than space and time, and she’ll do whatever it takes to bring her husband back to her.

This is the book I’ll think about for a while.

I'm thinking about the story as I am writing this. It's a heart-wrenching and remarkable story. I was hooked from the first page, and when I wasn't reading, I was thinking about it. I've read most of Chanel Cleeton's books and even got to meet her at a signing when The Lost Story Of Eva Fuentes was released. I shouldn't be surprised, and yet Chanel had me on the edge of my seat once again. I loved the book that features space, and read a few books based on it; however, this one, I loved that it was about an astronaut's wives, and how it affects them. Every page in this book will have you captivated, craving for more.

An Infinite Love Story was such beautiful love story. I fell in love with Viv and Joe from the moment that they were introduced. I knew those two belonged together from the moment they met; I was just waiting for them to realize it. It’s not hard to see how much Viv loved Joe, but how hard it was to be an astronaut’s wife. I can’t even imagine enduring what she had. I adored Viv. Despite everything that was happening, she stayed strong, and she didn’t give up on her husband. I cried multiple times while reading this book, but I couldn’t pull away and found myself turning the pages.

I liked that it took place during 1960’s Space Race, and what made this story unique is that it was told from POV of astronaut’s wife. The “now” and “then” timelines intervened wonderfully; making the story so much more intriguing to read. I could talk about this book for hours, and even recommended to few of my friends. There’s a reason that Chanel Cleeton is one of my favorites. An Infinite Love Story is a must read.

Other People's Summers.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In school, Milly Beckett and Nicole Raven were as close as sisters. Now, years later, a gulf separates them, and not just because of the different spheres they inhabit. Nicole is a global superstar with the world at her fingertips, but when scandal breaks, she turns to the only person she trusts.

Fresh from a painful divorce and struggling to balance her work and raising her daughter alone, Milly is tempted to refuse her friend’s plea for help. Nicole wasn’t there for her when she needed her most, and that’s hard to forgive. But Nicole is desperate and Milly agrees to give her the sanctuary she needs.

Against a stunning Lake District backdrop, stilted small talk gradually gives way to soul-deep revelations as the two women slowly find their way back to one another. Living with Milly gives Nicole a glimpse of a different path for herself, and Milly starts to see a life beyond her divorce, including the possibility of a new romance. But Nicole can’t stay hidden forever—and neither can the secret she’s been keeping from Milly, a secret that threatens both her future happiness and the fragile bond between them.

I love Sarah Morgan's books and was excited when my friend recommended we read it for a buddy read. What I love about her books is how heartwarming and powerful they are. I love books about friendships and family. What Milly and Nicole have is true friendship. I liked the way Sarah portrayed their friendship, showing how it was challenged. From the first chapter, when Milly went to get Nicole, I wondered what had happened between them. Despite what Milly felt, I knew that Milly still cared about Nicole; based on the fact of what she did, how she tried to help Nicole. I hoped that Milly would put the past behind them and forgive Nicole.

Other People’s Summers was such captivating and moving story. The writing is one of my favorite parts of her books; it takes you away to the story that you don’t even realize how much time has passed. Nicole has been through so much, I can’t even begin to imagine going through everything that she had to face. The moments between Milly and Nicole were bittersweet, heartwarming, and at times heartbreaking. I was rooting for the two of them to get their friendship back on track. I liked how realistic this book was; it dealt with issues that happen in real life. This story will stay with me for a long time.

As always, I love her setting and wish I could go there. It seems like the perfect place to escape and relax. I loved everything about this book: characters, storyline, setting, relationships. I have a feeling that I will be returning to this book in the future. Highly recommended.

A Pair Of Aces.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4.5

Thank you to publisher, Berkley Publishing Group  for providing with Earc via Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

Eunice Carter, assistant district attorney for the City of New York and Manhattan’s first Black female prosecutor, has her sights set on the one and only Lucky Luciano, head of New York City’s five largest organized crime families. Other prosectors have tried to bring down Lucky, but they’ve all focused on the crime syndicate’s traditional businesses—bootlegging, gambling, loan sharking, and drug dealing—or tax evasion. No one has thought to approach the Mob through its role in prostitution. Until Eunice. But she can’t get Luciano alone.

Polly Adler has worked long and hard to build up her high-class brothel business. Her client list is filled with well-known names, both the famous and the infamous, who all know her booze is top-notch, her music first-rate, her food exquisite, and her girls the best. But Lucky has gone too far, putting her girls in danger, and Polly finally sees the chance to end his reign once and for all.

Together, Eunice and Polly fashion a case utilizing a network of women. Bridging the enormous divide between them and risking their own lives, they assemble evidence bit by bit, under the nose of the man they’re trying to convict. It is this very alliance—of two women from vastly different worlds—that launches the most sensational trial New York City has ever seen.

What a powerful and inspiring novel!

I have so much to say about this book. I have been excited about this book since Victoria announced at the book signing I attended; that she and Marie are writing a new book together. I was even more excited once the title and the cover were revealed. I have read Victoria Christopher Murray & Marie Benedict ’s The Personal Librarian and have read their individual novels as well. I fell in love with that story, and A Pair Of Aces wasn’t any different; the way their writing flows together makes it impossible not to fall in love with the story, especially the characters. I loved escaping into the world of Polly and Eunice and watching how their stories intertwined.

I wasn’t sure about Polly when she was first introduced, but as the book progressed; I found myself rooting for her. Polly was a strong woman because, despite everything that she was facing, she didn’t give up. You could tell how important her girls were to her, and how she would do anything to protect them. Eunice, I loved her determination, her courage. The elements, the details in this book, are phenomenal. Once I finished the book, I wanted to go back and read it again. The dual perspective gives the reader a glimpse into two very different women. I liked the way the relationship between Eunice and Polly transformed throughout the story. There is part of me that wonders what happened after.

A Pair Of Aces is a story that you won’t forget, and a story that will have you on edge of your seat until the end. I wondered about the title, and once I read the book – it made the perfect sense. Victoria and Marie are amazing at the historical details and pulling the reader into the story. This is their third collaboration. They make a great team. Highly recommended. I’m already eager to see what they have in store for us next.

Never Will I Forever(Kind Of Perfect,#3)

The love story that was never supposed to happen… becomes the one they can’t walk away from.

Meredith has built a life on her own terms—a successful photographer in Manhattan, keeping everything just out of reach.

Evan lives over 2,500 miles away. A Southern California native, he runs a surf school, spends his days in the water, and comes home sun-warmed and unbothered, his dog Bear never far behind. His life is simple by design—and he intends to keep it that way.

The attraction between them is immediate. Unavoidable. Complicated by the fact that Meredith’s sister is married to Evan’s best friend.

So they give it a boundary. Call it what it is. Just for fun.

It’s supposed to stay easy. Temporary. Something they can walk away from without looking back.

But some connections refuse to stay contained.

The more they try to keep their distance, the harder it becomes to ignore what’s building between them—something deeper, something neither of them planned for.

And neither of them knows how to stop.

Now it’s the one thing they can’t let go.

Some Kind Of Perfect hold a special place in my heart. Ever since I read Natalie and Will's story, I've fallen in love. I liked Meredith since she was introduced in the first book and was excited when I found out that she was going to get her own book. I was curious to see what would happen with Meredith and Evan. I could tell that Meredith liked him, but at the same time, she seemed afraid that their relationship would move beyond what it was. There was part of me that understood why she kept on pushing him away, but another part of me felt that she wasn’t fair to Evan. She kept on coming back to him; only to push him away later. I was waiting and hoping that Meredith would come to her senses and figure out what she wants.

I loved Evan, and it was clear how much he loved Meredith; despite how much she pushed him away, he was always there for her when she needed him. However, I was afraid of what might happen if she kept on pushing him away. Throughout the book, I rooted for Evan and Meredith to end up together. Of course, I loved that Natalie and Will made an appearance in this book. I loved how Natalie was there for her sister; I loved the bond between the two of them.

I loved the summer vibes of this book. I also loved the way that Jillian described everything and transformed me there. I’m so glad I had an opportunity to read Meredith and Evan’s story, and cannot wait to see what Jillian has in store for us next

Fall At Once(Cozy Creek Collection,#3)

 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

 4.5

I'm in Cozy Creek for two To get over my breakup and help my grandmother run her bakery while she recovers from a sprained ankle.

I am absolutely not here to fall in love.

But my grandma's smoking hot firefighter neighbor keeps rescuing me—from the side of the road, from a tree (don't ask), and then finally from my ex with a steamy kiss in a bar.

So when he needs my help, how can I say no?

As a party planner, I'm the perfect person to step in and work with him on preparations for Cozy Creek Fire Brigade's Fall Fundraiser.

Sparks fly as we spend more time together, but we've both been burned by love before.

I do my best to beat the heat, but then he kissed me for real, and (f)all at once, I realize we might just be perfect for each other.

 ðŸŒ·

Fall At Once was such cute book. It reminded me of a Hallmark movie, and I found myself smiling on multiple occasions. I loved Madi and Cole from the beginning; from the moment Cole rescued Madi the first time, you could feel the attraction and connection between them. You could tell how much Cole cared about Madi, the way that he kept on rescuing her. I understood why he kept pushing her away, but I wish he wouldn’t. I had a feeling that if he kept pushing her away, he would lose her. I was rooting all throughout the book that he would come to his senses.

Fall At Once had such a good description of Cozy Creek that I wanted to move there. I loved the small community and the way that everyone looked out for one another. That is one of my favorite things about small-town books. I adored most of the characters in this book, except the exes. I loved Kenzie more than I thought, and I am curious about her story, and feel like she needs her own book. I’m glad that Madi and Kenzie had one each other. Gigi; that’s another character that you cannot help but love. She reminded me so much of one of my grandma’s. Fall At Once gave me such a warm and fuzzy feeling while I was reading it.

I liked the character development in this. Most of the characters went a long way; partially Madi. The ending was one of my favorite scenes in the book. I’m still smiling while thinking about it. I loved the bond that Madi created with Cole’s kids, Natalie and Evan. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough in this book. Fall At Once is the type of small-town vibes that I adore. Now that I have read Fall At Once, I’m eager to check out the other books in the Cozy Creek collection!

The Bookstore Diaries.

 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  4.5

Jax has a slight issue with control—as in, she needs it. Always. Too bad she has power only over the Painted Lady Bookstore, the Victorian mansion turned bookshop she inherited. No one else listens to a word she says. Her ex gets engaged for questionable reasons. Her beloved sister, Ryleigh, wants to move away to find a husband. And the handsome contractor Jax has chosen to convince Ryleigh to stay is only interested in Jax.

Still, she’s living the bookworm dream—until an unhappy accident erases the names from the bookshop lockboxes where the town keeps their diaries. Which means the only way to find a diary’s owner is…to read it.

As secrets spill and scandals surface, life at the Painted Lady Bookstore gets a lot more colorful and chaotic. But for a woman who’s always had to take charge, Jax will see that losing control—especially with the right wrong guy—can set you free.

 ðŸŒ·

I love reading books that feature sisters, animals, self-discovery, and friendships. A close friend of mine told me about The Bookstore Diaries, and I’m so glad that she did. It was such a bittersweet story; I loved Jax and Ryleigh's stories and felt as if I was going along on the journey with them. I always loved books that either take place in a bookstore or feature books. I thought the idea of diaries in the bookstore was such a cute idea!

Jax and Ryleigh; you couldn’t help but love them. Both were struggling in different ways, and from the start, I wanted them to find their happily-ever-after. I loved how close Jax and Ryleigh were, but I could tell that Ryleigh wasn’t happy where she was and hoped that she would be able to find her place. I understood why Jax didn’t want her sister to move, but I also felt she should have been more supportive. However, I’m glad that Jax and Ryleigh had each other. A lot of scenes between the two of them were bittersweet, and I found myself smiling.

I had a feeling that the relationship Ryleigh had with Alex was more than just friendship; I was waiting for the two of them to figure it out. He was what she was missing. I loved the parrot, Ramon; he had me laughing on multiple occasions. The way Jax loved Ramon was so cute. He was one of my favorite things about this story. I loved the way that the story was written, along with all the descriptions, relationships, and the small-town community. It’s a story worth checking out.

The Underground Sisters.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to Amazon Publishing UK for complimentary  Earc via Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

We’ll make sure they never forget. We’ll make sure that every recipe, every poem, every note is remembered, and never, ever forgotten. Even if it takes me a lifetime, I promise you that no one will forget…

Amsterdam, 1940: Schoolteacher Aletta knows the war will soon reach her and the Jewish children in her class. When her family hide an injured Allied airman in their home, they must how much will they risk when resistance could prove deadly?

Paris, 1940: Since her mother’s death, Chloe has dedicated herself to protecting her brothers. So when the SS accuses Claude of being in the Resistance, she sacrifices herself to save him.

Forced together in Ravensbrück concentration camp, Chloe, Aletta and her mother, Emma, forge an unbreakable bond. Surrounded by unimaginable cruelty, they mount their own kind of resistance—secretly teaching children and preserving fellow prisoners’ precious memories. In a place designed to strip away humanity, their friendship becomes an act of defiance, their determination to bear witness a lifeline of hope.

As the war rages on and whispers of a longed-for liberation grow, can their courage and sisterhood see them through to freedom? And if they survive, how can they ever be the same?

What a heartbreaking, yet beautiful story.

The Underground Sisters will make you cry. There were a few times throughout the story where I found myself getting emotional. Despite the heavy topic, I found myself unable to stop turning the pages. The Underground Sisters is a story about family, bravery, survival, and friendship. I liked the way Soraya described everything, especially life at the camp. It was so vivid that I imagined it all, the horror that all the women had to face there. The Underground Sisters was one of the most emotional and heartbreaking books that I read about WWII.

I adored Emma, Chloe, and Aletta, and the bond they created. I believe that the bond is what kept the three of them going in the camp. I loved the way Emma and Aletta took Chloe in and treated her as family. I liked the dual timeline and the dual perspective in this book. The title, The Underground Sisters fits the book perfectly. Once I finished reading the book, I found myself thinking about the book.

The Underground Sisters is not a story that you will forget. It’s tough to read at time, and your heart will break for Emma, Aletta and Chloe and all the other women at the camp. However; I think that this is the story that should be read. I have read few books by Soraya. M.Lane and there is a reason that she is one of my favorite historical fiction authors. Highly recommended.

Say You Love Me (Lovers Lodge,#1)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to the author,Jami Rogers and Grey's Promotions for providing me with E-ARC, in exchange for honest review.

One offer from Dutton Richford is all it takes to land me in a deal with the enemy.

For a man who I've spent most of my life despising (and I assumed it went both ways), he knew exactly what to say to convince me to help him.

You see, he wants his father to choose him as the next owner of Lovers Lodge, the destination venue our small town is most known for, and I want to finally own my own business and expand it.

We both have obstacles that are keeping us from getting what we want, and somehow, teaming up makes the most sense.
It doesn’t take long for me to learn that I never really knew the man who has managed to steal my attention in just a few short weeks. The man who is much more observant and kinder than I expected him to be. Don’t even get me started on his bright green eyes, his sculpted body, and the dimple in his left cheek when he smiles. Which is rare, by the way, but he’s starting to do it more and more often with me.

The way my heart pounds and my body heats when he’s near me, looks at me, touches me, or speaks to me is something I’m beginning to crave.

It makes hating him that much harder.

And that’s a problem, because what’s a girl supposed to do when a harmless deal turns into something more with a man who has always been forbidden?

 ðŸŒ·

This was such a cute story! I've always loved small-town settings, and this one was perfect. I fell in love with Lovers Lodge instantly; it's the type of town that I see myself living in. Say You Love Me is the type of romance that I love; where everyone takes care of one another. Say You Love Me is the story where you won’t just fall in love with the main characters, but the side characters as well. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I finished it a few hours earlier, and I still can’t get it off my mind.

I adored Brooke from the beginning and felt horrible that she had to go through what she did. I’m so glad that she had Dutton by her side. Dutton and Brooke stole my heart. I loved how their relationship grew from friendship to so much more. The bittersweet moments between the two of them had me smiling so much. The scenes between the two were my favorites, and I kept on turning the pages nonstop. I loved the way that Dutton took care of her.

I loved the community in this book; there were only a few characters that I wasn’t fond of. Of course, I loved the banter between Brooke and Dutton, as well as between other characters. I didn’t want this book to end because I didn’t want to say goodbye. Say You Love Me was the first book that I read by Jami Rogers, and now I can’t wait to check out her others.

The Intruder.

 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Who knows what the storm will blow in…

Casey's cabin in the wilderness is not built for a hurricane. Her roof shakes, the lights flicker, and the tree outside her front door sways ominously in the wind. But she's a lot more worried about the girl she discovers lurking outside her kitchen window.

She’s young. She’s alone. And she’s covered in blood.

The girl won't explain where she came from or loosen her grip on the knife in her right hand. And when Casey makes a disturbing discovery in the middle of the night, things take a turn for the worse.

The girl has a dark secret. One she’ll kill to keep. And if Casey gets too close to the truth, she may not live to see the morning.

 ðŸŒ·

I love Freida McFadden. I have read a few of her books, and none of them has disappointed me. I read The Intruder with my friend as a buddy read for June. There is a reason that Freida is one of my favorite thriller authors; she knows how to keep her readers on the edge of their chairs. Not long after I picked up the book, I was captivated by the characters and eager to see what would happen next. The Intruder is not a book that you will be able to put down easily. The story's setting made it so much more suspenseful.

My favorite aspect of Freida’s books is the twists and turns throughout the story. The Intruder had a good number of twists that I didn’t see coming, especially closer to the ending of the book. However, I felt that there weren’t as many twists as she usually has. I still loved the book and the way that it was written. As always, I love Freida’s descriptions, they make me feel as if I am watching a thriller movie while I am reading.

The connection between the characters was intense in this book; especially between Casey and the young girl. Once the story got to that part, I knew that I was in trouble and wouldn’t be able to put the book down. I do think that this one of Freida’s darker books. I would keep talking about this story, but I don’t want to give too much away. Highly recommended for any thriller fans!

Darkest Storm(Star Touched:Witch Blade,#2)

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jade Harrington wasn't supposed to have magic at all, let alone the silver lightning that marks her as the most dangerous student on a volcanic island full of witches. And she definitely wasn't supposed to fall for Logan Ashford, the infuriatingly controlled proctor who trains her in secret, kisses her like she's the only thing keeping him human, and guards his own darkness with a ferocity that terrifies her.

But after the devastating events of Halloween night, two people are missing, and the Witch Council sends investigators to find out why. Every answer they uncover drags them closer to the truth Jade’s desperate to hide, and even Logan's walls are starting to crack under the pressure.

However, the investigation soon becomes the least of Jade’s problems. Because when monsters breach the island, Jade's lightning explodes in front of everyone—shattering the secret Logan nearly destroyed himself to protect and launching them into a monster-infested sea that was never meant to let anyone leave alive.

 ðŸŒ·

Once again, I shouldn’t be surprised. I didn’t think that I could fall in love with this series even more, but I was proven wrong.. Darkest Storm picked up right where Silver Storm left off, and I was captivated by every page. This is one of those books: just when you think you can put it down, you find yourself reading for hours. You also find yourself recommending this series to your friends. I love the way Michelle portrays her characters, especially Jade, Logan, and Evie. The growth in those characters is phenomenal. Although it’s only the second book, I feel such deep connections to these characters.

Jade came a long way from the first book. I love the way that she wants to help others. I adore the way she is with Logan and the way that she reassures him. I love the connection that the two of them share. I do feel that Logan is overprotective at times, but I understand why he is. I enjoyed that this book was written from different perspectives; a chance for us to get other characters better. Besides Logan and Jade, Evie has become my favorite.

World-building is one of the best in this book. The way Michelle described everything those characters face is remarkable. This story deserves more than five stars. I feel as if this book would make an amazing TV show. I can go on about this book; that’s how much impact it had on me. I’m eager to pick up the next book right away and see what awaits everyone next.

Silver Storm(Star Touched:Witch Blade,#1)

 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dark magic. Forbidden romance. And an insane twist you’ll never see coming.

Jade Harrington had her future all mapped Yale Law, a prestigious career, the perfect life her parents demanded. But when her plane goes down and she wakes up with silver electricity sparking across her skin, she learns everything she believed was a lie.

Welcome to Blaze Academy—a hidden school for witches where magic is tied to fire and emotion. Where one wrong spark could expose Jade as an anomaly the mysterious Witch Council would kill to control.

The only person who can help her survive? Logan Ashford. Fourth-year proctor. Devastatingly beautiful, impossibly powerful, and hiding secrets darker than the black flames that burn at his fingertips.

He saved Jade’s life during the academy’s initiation trial. He knows what she is. And he's willing to become the monster everyone fears to keep her safe—even if it means teaching her to control the storm inside her and breaking every rule he's sworn to uphold.

But when a student is murdered and an ancient goddess chooses Jade as her champion, survival becomes more than just hiding forbidden magic. Because Jade has to navigate deadly challenges, uncover conspiracies that run deeper than she imagined, and decide whether the man who holds her heart is her greatest protector… or her ultimate betrayer.

  ðŸŒ·

Michelle Madow has been my instant read and buy author since I started reading her books in 2012. You can’t help but get captivated by the story and invested in the characters. It didn’t take me long to get hooked on this story. Silver Storm is slightly different than the other books that she has written, and darker, but it’s as engaging as her others. The moment that I started reading Silver Storm, my eyes were glued to the pages, and I found myself turning the pages; sometimes late into the night. There was always something happening, and every page had you craving for more, wondering what’s going to happen with Jade next.

I loved Jade from the beginning, although I felt bad for her. The way that she ended up at Blaze Academy. I was rooting for her all the way through the book. I was glad that she had Logan by her side, helping her. You could feel the chemistry between two of them from the moment that the two of them met. I was curious about why Logan kept pushing her away, hoping he would come to his senses soon. I loved the magical world that Michelle created in Blaze Academy. Her descriptions of the Blaze Academy and everything that the students had to face were so vivid, playing in my head like a movie. The scenes between Logan and Jade were my favorites.

That ending… I had to pick up the second book right away after that. I did not see that coming. It didn’t take me long to finish this story; I couldn’t get enough of Jade’s story. I’m curious to see what happens with Jade next, and Jade and Logan. I would highly recommend this book for any romantasy fans. Be prepared for a roller coaster ride!

The Ballad Of Never After(Once Upon Broken Heart,#2)

 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not every love is meant to be.

After Jacks, the Prince of Hearts, betrays her, Evangeline Fox swears she'll never trust him again. Now that she’s discovered her own magic, Evangeline believes she can use it to restore the chance at happily ever after that Jacks stole away.

But when a new terrifying curse is revealed, Evangeline finds herself entering into a tenuous partnership with the Prince of Hearts again. Only this time, the rules have changed. Jacks isn’t the only force Evangeline needs to be wary of. In fact, he might be the only one she can trust, despite her desire to despise him.

Instead of a love spell wreaking havoc on Evangeline’s life, a murderous spell has been cast. To break it, Evangeline and Jacks will have to do battle with old friends, new foes, and a magic that plays with heads and hearts. Evangeline has always trusted her heart, but this time she’s not sure she can. . . .

 ðŸŒ·

What did I just read? My heart… That ending, I did not see that coming. Both my best friend and I were in shock. That twist at the end, I need the next book now. This is not a series you can stop in; every chapter, every book will have you craving more. I finished it last night and discussed it with my best friend for a while. I still cannot get over it.

I didn’t think I could fall in love with this series more, and once again, I was proven wrong. I loved the first book, but I loved The Ballad Of Never After even more. There was so much more happening in this book, and the last few chapters were intense; you won’t put the book down until you reach the end, and afterward, you will find yourself picking up the next book. There is part of me that is eager to see what happens, but another part is afraid of what might happen next. This is the series that you won’t forget, no matter how hard you try. I know that I will be re-reading this series in the future.

The Ballad Of Never After is magical in so many ways, and I’m glad that I read it when the third book was out already. Jacks and Evangeline are officially my favorite couple; their story is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. I need to know what happens next. There is one character, I have so many words for, but I don’t want to give too much away. You will need to pick up the book and find out for yourself. This would make an amazing TV show or movie. I wish that I could give this book more than five stars; it deserves so much more.

Once Upon A Broken Heart(Once Upon A Broken Heart,#1)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For as long as she can remember, Evangeline Fox has believed in true love and happy endings . . . until she learns that the love of her life will marry another.

Desperate to stop the wedding and to heal her wounded heart, Evangeline strikes a deal with the charismatic, but wicked, Prince of Hearts. In exchange for his help, he asks for three kisses, to be given at the time and place of his choosing.

But after Evangeline’s first promised kiss, she learns that bargaining with an immortal is a dangerous game ― and that the Prince of Hearts wants far more from her than she’d pledged. He has plans for Evangeline, plans that will either end in the greatest happily ever after, or the most exquisite tragedy.

This book is magical, heartbreaking, heartwarming, and everything that I love about romantasy. It’s safe to say that it’s my favorite romantasy for the year – so far.

I’ve heard about Once Upon A Broken Heart when it just came out, and it has been on my to read list for a while. Then one of my best friends read it and told me I needed to check it out. We have been reading the series together since. I'm so glad she got me to read it. I may have lost sleep over this book because I couldn't put it down. If you're going to read this book, make sure you have time. Everything about this book is magical and extraordinary, especially the characters. You will come across characters you hate, and others you know you should hate but secretly love. Also, the world-building is outstanding!

I loved Evangeline from the start, although I felt that Luc didn’t love her the way that she loved him. There was something about Luc that I didn’t completely trust. I was hoping that she would see that at some point. The connection between Jacks and Evangeline was instant; even if the two of them didn’t see at the time, I knew that there was something there. I knew that I shouldn’t like Jacks, and at first, I didn’t. I didn’t trust him. However, as the book progressed, he grew on me. He was one of most compelling characters I have read about. There is something about him, you cannot help but like him. The twists and turns in this book…it’s one of things that will have you turning the page. Just when I didn’t think I could be more surprised, only to be proven wrong.

I cannot get this story out of my mind, and I will be starting the next one – I need to know what happens. The action, the magic system, and the way Stephanie describes everything are remarkable and feel so real. I have a feeling that this is going to end being one of my favorite series. Highly recommended for romantasy fans.

People We Meet On Vacation.

 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

Poppy and Alex. Alex and Poppy. They have nothing in common. She’s a wild child; he wears khakis. She has insatiable wanderlust; he prefers to stay home with a book. And somehow, ever since a fateful car share home from college many years ago, they are the very best of friends. For most of the year they live far apart—she’s in New York City and he’s in their small hometown—but every summer for a decade, they have taken one glorious week of vacation together.
Until two years ago, when they ruined everything. They haven’t spoken since.

Poppy has everything she should want, but she’s stuck in a rut. When someone asks when she was last truly happy, she knows without a doubt it was on that ill-fated final trip with Alex. And so, she decides to convince her best friend to take one more vacation together—lay everything on the table, make it all right. Miraculously, he agrees.

Now she has a week to fix everything. If only she can get around the one big truth that has always stood quietly in the middle of their seemingly perfect relationship. What could possibly go wrong?

Have you ever come across a book that, the minute you finish reading, you want to go back and read it again? People We Meet On Vacation was that book for me. I have been hearing about this book for a while, and I even got it a couple of years ago on my birthday. One of my best friends and I decided to buddy read this one, and I’m so glad that we did! It’s the perfect book to start my summer reading. People We Meet On Vacation was such a beautifully written book; the characters, the descriptions, the setting, and, of course, the connection between the characters. Every page had me craving more and wishing I didn’t have to study. I fell in love with Alex and Poppy’s story within a few minutes of starting the book.

You could tell that what Poppy and Alex had gone beyond friendship; even if they didn’t want to admit. The connection that those shared was so heartwarming and had me smiling. Although, I wish that those would realize and admit their feelings. I loved the way that the story shifted from present summer to the past summers that Alex and Poppy spent together. I loved the way Alex and Poppy joked with each other and the situations they found themselves in. Despite that, they were always there for one another.

The last few chapters were my favorites. This story is everything that I love about romance. Friends to Lovers is one of my favorite tropes, and People We Meet On Vacation is on top of that list. Now that I have read the book, I’m even more excited to see the movie. Plus, I’m in the mood to read more summer books. I could keep talking about this book, but I don’t want to give too much away. You’ll have to check out to find out for yourself.
