One offer from Dutton Richford is all it takes to land me in a deal with the enemy.
For a man who I've spent most of my life despising (and I assumed it went both ways), he knew exactly what to say to convince me to help him.
You see, he wants his father to choose him as the next owner of Lovers Lodge, the destination venue our small town is most known for, and I want to finally own my own business and expand it.
We both have obstacles that are keeping us from getting what we want, and somehow, teaming up makes the most sense.
It doesn’t take long for me to learn that I never really knew the man who has managed to steal my attention in just a few short weeks. The man who is much more observant and kinder than I expected him to be. Don’t even get me started on his bright green eyes, his sculpted body, and the dimple in his left cheek when he smiles. Which is rare, by the way, but he’s starting to do it more and more often with me.
The way my heart pounds and my body heats when he’s near me, looks at me, touches me, or speaks to me is something I’m beginning to crave.
It makes hating him that much harder.
And that’s a problem, because what’s a girl supposed to do when a harmless deal turns into something more with a man who has always been forbidden?

This was such a cute story! I've always loved small-town settings, and this one was perfect. I fell in love with Lovers Lodge instantly; it's the type of town that I see myself living in. Say You Love Me is the type of romance that I love; where everyone takes care of one another. Say You Love Me is the story where you won’t just fall in love with the main characters, but the side characters as well. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I finished it a few hours earlier, and I still can’t get it off my mind.
I adored Brooke from the beginning and felt horrible that she had to go through what she did. I’m so glad that she had Dutton by her side. Dutton and Brooke stole my heart. I loved how their relationship grew from friendship to so much more. The bittersweet moments between the two of them had me smiling so much. The scenes between the two were my favorites, and I kept on turning the pages nonstop. I loved the way that Dutton took care of her.
I loved the community in this book; there were only a few characters that I wasn’t fond of. Of course, I loved the banter between Brooke and Dutton, as well as between other characters. I didn’t want this book to end because I didn’t want to say goodbye. Say You Love Me was the first book that I read by Jami Rogers, and now I can’t wait to check out her others.
