Love that quote because it’s right, and it fits Lost Lake , that’s how I felt after I finished it, I could feel the story running over in my mind over again. The story was one of most inspirational, memorable stories that I read. Lost Lake is a story that I won’t forget, even know I find myself thinking about it afterwards. I can’t see how anybody who read the novel can’t. Even if a part of Lost Lake Storyline wasn’t realistic but more fantasy based, it felt real to me by the way that it was described. I was curious, who Alligator really was and what it was that he wanted; I knew that there was a reason behind it. Just like Devin, I was curious about the mystery of it. Once I reached the end, I actually wanted to go to Lost Lake even if it’s fictional. It sounded beautiful and just the type of place I love to relax, take vacation in. It’s no surprise that people kept coming back to it. Lost Lake is a magical place.



Loved reading a story from each of character’s view, that’s a great way to get to know the main characters, to see what they are feeling, thinking. Truth to be told, I couldn’t even pick out a favorite character if I was asked, I loved them all. Expect Cricket, I disliked her from the start, it felt like she was controlling Kate. I understand that her son died, but that doesn’t mean she should control her. I was glad that Kate had the courage to get away from her for a while, finally standing up for herself. Being the parent that Devin needed, getting to know Eby more and reuniting with Wes. By end of the book, all of them became a family. They did so much for Eby, the party and how they tried to convince her to not sell Lost Lake. Every Single one of them cared about her, and didn’t want Lost Lake run by anyone else but her. I hoped that she would change her mind, keep Lost Lake. Its great having a family, friends who care that much.



I saw an instant connection between Wes & Kate from moment that two of them reunited. There was a part of me that wondered, If Kate’s mom didn’t make her leave so fast, would they kiss? Would that changed her future somehow? I know that Kate tried to deny her feelings that were still there, because of Matt’s death, she was trying so hard to fight it. I could tell that there was something there, just the way that she reacted anytime that he was around her. I believe that in a way Wes helped her to move on, to heal. Devin was happy to get her other mother back, and Wes was so good, patient with Devin. I fell in love with Lost Lake like Devin did, I actually didn’t want book to come to finish, I didn’t want to let go of the magical place. Lost Lake is a great place for Escape.



Lost Lake deals with loss, life, friendships, love, family and moving one. It also has a bit of mystery and fantasy in a mix, which makes book even more suspenseful. There hasn’t been a single novel by Sarah Addison Allen

This was a cute story and it had everything that I love about books. Who doesn’t love Renaissance Faire? I know that I do, I even went to Faire couple times when it came to my area, and I love them. It’s one of the reasons that I loved this book, because most of it took place at Renaissance Faire and since I been to one couple times, I could picture almost everything that was happening there. It’s what made My Faire Lady different from the other books that took place in that time, it wasn’t time travel, it was current period. There was always something happening there, and it makes the reader realize how much work the employees have to do every day. I noticed how much working there, changed Rowena, it’s like she became a completely different person after. Of course once I reached the end, I was wondering if she come back next summer, if Will and Rowena make the relationship work. My Faire Lady is a novel that will have you thinking about characters after it comes to end.




I loved Suze & Will, loved how the two of them accepted her, and took her under their wind from start. The three of them had an instant bond, especially Rowena & Suze. Of course you can’t help but love Suze, she was outgoing and made sure everyone having a good time. She’s a lot like my best friend, Mariah. Rowena & Suze are just like the two of us, like them, we had an instant connection. When the two of them fought, it actually made me sad and I hoped that they would make up. Once they did, I was smiling. Now Will is another story, I had feeling that she might like him from start, just way that she checked him out few times, I am pretty sure that just friends don’t do that. I think that she was concentrating so much on Christian, of wanting him to kiss her, that she pushed it on back of her mind. I was wondering when she would realize it. Even I realized it how he feels about her before she did.



Now Christian, I had a feeling that there was something off about him, expect I can’t really explain what it was. He seemed decent enough at first and I could see why she liked him, who wouldn’t? But moment he started taking calls and ditching her alone, I had a feeling that something was up. I felt bad for her, when she found that he was cheater just like her ex been, it seemed like she couldn’t escape from her past. In way I am glad that she found out when she did, before things gone too far. Her art, the descriptions of how she drew her art, it took my breath away. I might not be an artist but I love art. I pictured every single thing, and like Suze and Will I hope she would consider majoring in art. Her parents surprised me, they took her confession better that I thought they would, I was sure that they would be completely against it, considering how she mentioned how strict they were. I guess sometimes people surprise you.



My Faire Lady is a novel filled with humor, romance, adventure, acceptance, letting go. Plus it has quite bit history in a mix. A debut author that I will looking forward to the next adventure.

I loved every minute of this novel; it was like nothing that I read before, nothing that I was expecting it to be. It was so much better. Have you ever picked up a book and from that moment you felt yourself glued to the book? Love & Other Foreign Words was that book for me and it’s a reason that I finished it in a day. I was hooked with characters, the story and it felt like I was going on the journey along with Josie. Title was what captured my attention when I was at library, looking for a book to read when I came across it. I was curious about the story from the title that I saw, even before I read the summary. It wasn’t just about love but about family, relationships and challenges. Each chapter had me eager for more of Josie’s story; I believe that it would make any reader eager to see what would happen next, how all of this will come to the end. Who would Josie end up with? I know that I was. The humor aspect of the story made it even more interesting to read. Love & Other Foreign Words was very easy to read and hard not to love.



I loved the relationship that Kate & Josie had, at least the one they did before it seemed go downhill after she got engaged. Afterwards it felt like the two of them were at constant war with each other, mostly when came to Geoff. I couldn’t blame Kate for being annoyed with Josie at times; she did come to act out when it came to me. I felt like Josie didn’t even give Geoff a fair chance, she just made up her mind that she didn’t like him and that what she stick to it. I did wonder if part had to do with fact, that now she knew that she wouldn’t have Kate all to herself, which her attention would focus on someone else. There were parts were Kate act like I felt she wasn’t being fair to Josie, she wanted change so much in Josie, just so it look good in her wedding, didn’t she realize she did hurt her feeling by critizing though? Even if she denied it. What she did with her journal page? Now that was out of control. If someone did that to me, honestly I don’t think I would be able to forgive them. Despite their downs, I could tell that two of them had a special sister bond and I hope they would see, and make it soon. I smiled when they did.




Each of relationships that Josie found herself in, were unique in their own way. For bit I did feel like she would end up with Ethan at some point. I got a feeling that two of them did have connection, even if two of them had a big age difference. When the two of them met, talked, it gave me a feeling that there was some sort of connection between two of them. Apparently I was wrong about that. Now Stu, even I did not see that coming, it took me as much by surprise as it did Josie. However it did make more sense why his relationships didn’t last, because he didn’t really care about them, it was Josie he cared about. I was smiling when Josie finally came to her senses, making me wonder what’s in store for them next.



You can’t help but love the book. Loved the voice, the characters, and the story. Love & Other Foreign Words isn’t just a love story, it’s also story about family relationships, acceptance, changes. The story that you will find yourself thinking about. It’s how relationships are. Every aspect of story was real. A book worth your time.
