GOODREADS SUMMARY
It's been months since Aria learned of her mother's death.
Months since Perry became Blood Lord of the Tides, and months since Aria last saw him.
Now Aria and Perry are about to be reunited. It's a moment they've been longing for with countless expectations. And it's a moment that lives up to all of them. At least, at first.
Then it slips away. The Tides don't take kindly to former Dwellers like Aria. And the tribe is swirling out of Perry's control. With the Aether storms worsening every day, the only remaining hope for peace and safety is the Still Blue. But does this haven truly exist?
Threatened by false friends and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, Can their love survive through the ever night?
In this second book in her spellbinding Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi combines fantasy and sci-fi elements to create a captivating adventure-and a love story as perilous as it is unforgettable.
I didn’t think books could possibly get any better. Once again, I was proven wrong. I’m in love with this series, the storyline and the characters. It’s unlike any other book I read, and I have read quite few dystopian books. This book was filled with even more action then first one was, there was more going on and more suspense of what is going happen next. How can you not love a book that has love, friendship, adventure, survival? It’s everything that I love in novel. It’s one of those storylines that kept my attention till end. Once I reached the end, I picked up the next book right away. I wanted see what would be in store next for Aria and Perry, even Roar.
Aria, Perry, Roar: Those 3 are my favorite characters in the book, so far. I am always looking forward in seeing what they are going to face next. I love how close all 3 of them, the way that they are looking out for one another. In a way it reminds me of some of my best friends, how they look out for me, and how I look out for them. Roar and Aria form a special bond in this book, they grow pretty close. It’ s no wonder that Perry thinks there is something between two of them when they return. It even made me wonder if maybe something could develop between them. Only when they return, I can tell that there won’t be, she loves Perry and only Perry. I felt bad for Roar when Liv died, I felt like I could feel the pain that he was feeling. I was glad that Aria was there with him, he needed someone, even if he wouldn’t admit it.
I know that this is fantasy, made up word. Yet the descriptions in this book was so vivid, I could picture everything. Tides, Adventure that Aria and Roar went on together. Everything. It felt real to me. In first book I disliked Soren but in this book, he actually grew on me. He did try help Aria, went behind his father’s back. Maybe he does have a heart, thought what happened wasn’t his entire fault. I was glad to see his return, I was curious since the first novel what happened to me. If he was looking for her, for revenge. Question now, is will he help Aria more and will he survive in Outside? Aria barely did in beginning.
I hated most of Tides, mostly because of how they treated Aria, how they tried to kill. Though she came, to try and help them. I was kind of hoping that they would accept her in some way. At least some of them did, so not everyone seemed to be against her. When she was poisoned, I wanted come after whoever tried kill her as much as Perry did. I could see how much they loved each other, just by way that they tried protecting each other.
Now, I am sad that it’s going come to end soon but at same time, excited to see how it’s going to end. Who will survive? Will Perry and Aria’s relationship last till the end?
Love Fantasy? Love Adventure? Love Romance? This is series for you. One that you won’t regret. One of the most engaging books.
