The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe-haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do-and they are just as determined to stay together.
Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. And when Roar returns to camp, he is so furious with Perry that he won't even look at him, and Perry begins to feel like they have already lost.
Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble a team to mount an impossible rescue mission-because Cinder isn't just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival, he's also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.
In this final book in her stunning Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi raises the stakes to their absolute limit and brings her epic love story to an unforgettable close.
An amazing conclusion to a series I loved right from start. I am going miss the characters, the story. I been looking forward to this book since reading Under The Never Sky, I was eager to see what happens with them. Where Aria and Perry would be lead next. Under The Never Sky was most engaging series I read this year. There were times I had force myself to put the book down. Not only did it have amazing characters, descriptions but have such amazing artwork, titles. Into Still Blue was my favorite cover from all of the books. It’s a great final book cover. Veronica Rossi has a talent. It’s unique, and even after you finish reading it, makes you want re-read it all over again. I’m hoping she writes more books soon. I’m excited to find out what she comes up with next.
I didn’t think it was possible for me to love Aria, Perry and Roar but I was wrong. In beginning though, I had a feeling that Perry and Roar’s friendship might not be restored, mostly of how he was acting towards Perry, angry. I can’t blame him but I think he could handle it a bit better. All through book I was curious to see if it will go back to way it was. I was glad when they finally talked it out at the end. In way, it’s all thanks to Aria. Who knows what could happen between the two of them, if she didn’t have them talk it out. Aria’s father, I was starting to wonder if she ever find out. I have feeling that despite her being angry with him, she wants some sort of relationship with her father. Glad she realized it at the end.
Now Sable, he was one character I hated from start. He betrayed, killed so many. When he murdered Soren’s father in front of him, I hated him even more. I hoped that he would get for what is coming for him in end. Soren, another character that surprised me, he changed so much through this book. He became friends with Perry, Roar and even Brooke, something that I never imagined happening. He became one of characters I didn’t like to one that I loved. That was another unexpected twist in the series. I was happy to see a happy ending, well expect for Cinder not making it. That made me sad. But at least Sable is gone and Aria and Perry together. After everything they gone through, they deserved a happy ending together.
I’m looking forward to movie, hopefully be as good. This is one series that is worth checking out. Rossi has an unique talent.
