Vengeance will be hers.

Allison Sekemoto once struggled with the question: human or monster? With the death of her love, Zeke, she has her answer.

Monster.

Allie will embrace her cold vampire side to hunt down and end Sarren, the psychopathic vampire who murdered Zeke. But the trail is bloody and long, and Sarren has left many surprises for Allie and her companions - her creator Kanin, and her blood brother, Jackal. The trail is leading straight to the one place they must protect at any cost - the last vampire-free zone on Earth, Eden. And Sarren has one final, brutal shock in store for Allie.

In a ruined world where no life is sacred and former allies can turn on you in one heartbeat, Allie will face her darkest days. And if she succeeds, her triumph will be short-lived in the face of surviving forever alone.

THE FINAL HUNT IS ON

I knew there was a reason that I love Julie Kagawa . The book, the series is the reason why, it was epic, another thrilling ride. I became a fan of her when I read Iron Fey series, and now I know why. Kagawa has a way to hook her readers to the story, to the characters, no matter what the story is about. Blood Of Eden is unlike any vampire stories that I read about out there. It had a story of it’s own and it’s what I loved about it. How can you not? Vampires. Zombie Vampires, revenge. That is my type of a story and it’s not a clique sort of movie, like rest of vampire stories out there seem to be. Despite what happened, I was rooting for Allie all through the book, I hoped that she will find what she looking for, to find her peace. Also the descriptions that were in this book, they were out of this world. Not just the description but the feelings too, I felt as I could actually feel her emotions as well. I could feel her anger, her sadness, her fear, her hate. The Forever Song is filled with so many emotions. You won’t be able to resist but get hooked onto the story.

You can’t help but wonder about the title, even if I had read the other books in series I was curious. Why Forever Song? I know that Kagawa always has some sort of meaning behind the titles. As I read the novel it started to make sense, and I remembered what Sarren had said to her in the previous book. Considering what happened between her and Zeke in the book, it had finally made sense. The Forever Song had so much more action then the first two books in series, at least in my opinion, so much happened. At first I was bit anxious about book because it was last in the series and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It was a great ending to the series; I was both sad and happy at the same time. I felt like I was saying goodbye to my friends. By end of the series, they did feel like my friends, I even took a liking to Jackal, the one character I didn’t think I could like. It was magical.

Kanin, oh man, why did they have to do that? He was one of the characters that I loved from start of the series. How can you not love him? Besides Allie, he is one of the nicest vampires out there. He cares about Allie and she wouldn’t be where she is today, if it wasn’t for him. He taught her everything that she knows. The two of them had a special bond. I can’t believe that now he is actually gone. I don’t think that even I wanted to believe it, at least not at first, I refused to. Why a character that I like does always ends up dead? As for Zeke and Allie, what the two of them have is a definition of true love, they went through so much, and at beginning both of them almost gave up but in end they made it. I was glad that by the end they had one another.

A Beautiful, breathtaking conclusion to an amazing series. A vampire series that is worth checking out.
