Brilliant. If you loved The Secret Diamond Sisters, you are going to love Diamonds In The Rough . Michelle Madow books keep getting better, I have read every single one of them and I still get sucked into her stories. You can’t help but fall in love with Madow’s stories, she pretty much involves in each of character’s life and her books are filled with emotions, the emotions that you start feeling as you read the books. To me, these stories, these books feel real because I can actually see it happening in real life, her books are realistic, their issues are realistic. The reader can’t help but get invested in each of character’s lives and wonder what’s going to happen to them next. I could barely pull myself from the book, and if I wasn’t visiting my best friend I probably wouldn’t have. I couldn’t believe that it took me that long to read it, and after I read it, I wanted to again. I loved The Secret Diamond Sisters, but I loved Diamonds In The Rough even more. I am officially hooked to the series.
Diamonds In The Rough was filled with much more unexpected twists; at least to me it felt like there were more. I did not see the twist about Madison, and even Courtney coming and the end? How am I supposed wait till October after ending like that? As for Madison, I wasn’t her biggest fan because how she treated Diamond sisters, but after what happened her in this book she grew on me. By end of book I felt sorry for her and actually wished that I could give her a hug. I can’t believe they kept something like that from her. As for Oliver, at first I wasn’t happy he was doing to Madison for bet, but as book progressed I started to wonder if all acting he was doing, wasn’t an act. I wondered if it could progressed into something more, if it didn’t get reunited. I don’t blame her for being upset, there is only so much bad news that one person can take. At least Madison changed, in way and she did try to be nicer towards Diamond sister but I wonder if it will last.
The second book was more drama filled, in a good way. There were more going on. Every page that you turned, you wondered what’s going to happen next. I loved all couples; if anyone asked me to pick a favorite one I am not sure if I could have. I did feel bad for Jackson, what happened to him wasn’t fair, wasn’t his fault, how was he supposed know that they were being watched? I was glad that Courtney finally acted on her feeling with Brett. One person that had most unexpected change in this book was Damien; he was not the person that he was in the first book. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think Savanah would got as far as she did, with her music. He’s back on my favorite list, how can you not love him after what he did for her? The novel had me smiling, crying, and hoping. Now the question is, what is going happen next? How is it going to end? I loved every page, every chapter. A series that deserves more than 5 stars.
Michelle Madow did it again. She’s an author that is going to come a long way. I am not saying that because we’re good friends, it’s the truth and I am proud of her. She inspired me. I can’t wait to see what stories and adventures she will come up with next.
