As bubbly as champagne and delectable as wedding cake, Once and for All, Sarah Dessen's thirteenth novel, is set in the world of wedding planning, where crises are routine.

Louna, daughter of famed wedding planner Natalie Barrett, has seen every sort of wedding: on the beach, at historic mansions, in fancy hotels and clubs. Perhaps that's why she's cynical about happily-ever-after endings, especially since her own first love ended tragically. When Louna meets charming, happy-go-lucky serial dater Ambrose, she holds him at arm's length. But Ambrose isn't about to be discouraged, now that he's met the one girl he really wants.

What is there to say? Another beautifully written story. A book that will have you going through the emotions, and you will find yourself falling in love.

I have been a big SARAH DESSEN fan for years, and there wasn’t a single book that I didn’t enjoy. Like her other books, I fell in love with the characters, the plot of the story. Every page, every chapter had me craving for more. This is the second time that I read ONCE AND FOR ALL , and I have feeling as if I fell in love more, than when I read it the first time around couple years ago. That is one of the things that I love about her books, you can re-read them multiple times, and each time you read them, you will fall in love with story. Even though this is second time that I read this book, I couldn’t pull myself from the story. As I read the story, the story became real to me and I felt all the emotions that Louna felt, especially about Ethan. It was as if I was there besides her. ONCE AND FOR ALL is an emotional book, and you will cry. I did. Especially after finding out what happened with Ethan. I cannot imagine going through something that horrific, losing someone that you love that way. It is during that times that I wished that I could go over there, and give her a big hug. I did wonder if she would tell Ambrose the truth about what happened to Ethan. I hoped that she would because he deserved to know the truth.

Ambrose, first of all, don’t you just love that name? I think it’s an unique name and it fits the character well. I had a strong feeling that Ambrose liked Louna when he met her, but I was not positive. As the book progressed, I knew that he did, the way he acted around her, and seemed to want to be around her. I knew that there was a reason that he made the bet, and I knew that he was hoping that he would win. I couldn’t help but wonder who would win. I wanted Louna to come to realization of how she feel about Ambrose. I knew that she liked him, but she seemed to be in denial. Maybe it was because of Ethan, or maybe she was afraid of commitment, but I hoped that she would figure out soon. That’s why I loved the ending, and I actually was smiling at that scene, but then how could I not? I did not want to reach the end, because ending meant that I had to say goodbye to everyone. I have feeling that ONCE AND FOR ALL will be book that I will end up re-reading again in the future. I love the fact that it was about wedding planning; I always enjoyed books that had weddings in them. I loved reading about the process of how weddings are planned. It made it so real, because I could imagine it all.

Jilly, Will- My other favorite characters. How could you not love them? I loved how Will was with Louna and Natalie, and how he seemed to take care of them. I loved his personality in general, he’s a character that you will fall in love with. Jilly, she reminds me of my best friend, and the type of person that everyone wants to be friends with. She took care of Louna, always. I am glad that Louna had her as a best friend. In general ONCE AND FOR ALL is a book that you cannot help with fall in love with, from the first page. A book that deserves more than five stars. Breathtaking, touching YA Contemporary that I highly recommend to everyone.

Theodosia was six when her country was invaded and her mother, the Fire Queen, was murdered before her eyes. On that day, the Kaiser took Theodosia's family, her land, and her name. Theo was crowned Ash Princess--a title of shame to bear in her new life as a prisoner.

For ten years Theo has been a captive in her own palace. She's endured the relentless abuse and ridicule of the Kaiser and his court. She is powerless, surviving in her new world only by burying the girl she was deep inside.

Then, one night, the Kaiser forces her to do the unthinkable. With blood on her hands and all hope of reclaiming her throne lost, she realizes that surviving is no longer enough. But she does have a weapon: her mind is sharper than any sword. And power isn't always won on the battlefield.

For ten years, the Ash Princess has seen her land pillaged and her people enslaved. That all ends here.

I saw mixed reviews about this book, but it was just the type of story that I enjoy. I gave it a chance. ASH PRINCESS is the book you end up falling in love with. It did start out a bit slow for me, and once it picked up, that is when I found myself in trouble. ASH PRINCESS is just the type of stories that I love, and I found myself reading it late into the night. I was fascinated by Theo’s story, and I found myself hoping that she would be able to escape it. I cannot begin to imagine, to have to go through what Theo did, all that cruelty and abuse. However, to me Theo was brave, to have seen her mother get murdered and then have to deal with Kaiser for so many years. To me, that’s courage. I was scared for her, when he asked her to kill. I can’t imagine what must been going through her, and how she knew that she didn’t have any other choice. My heart broke for her. From the entire book, I didn’t have any character as much as I hated Kaiser. How could you not hate him? Especially how he always seemed to punish Theodosia anytime that something went wrong, or that he did not like, even if it couldn’t possibly be her fault. To Kaiser that didn’t matter.

It’s easy to tell, that Theodosia was conflicted between her childhood friend, Blaise and Prinz Soren from the start. I do believe that she didn’t expect to fall for the Prinz, she was supposed have him fall in love with her, but not to develop feelings for him. I am not surprised that she did, he is nothing like his father, and he always tried to look out for her. Prinz Soren is the type of guy that every girl dreams about. Of course Blaise always seemed to look out for her as well. In a way I am conflicted myself, because I like both Prinz and Blaise. I am curious now though; I cannot help but wonder who she will end up with. I can’t wait to read next book in the series, LADY SMOKE and find out. With an ending like that, you can’t help but wonder what will happen. What will happen with Theodosia, Cress, Prinz, and Blaise. I was blown away by the story; I couldn’t get enough of it. It’s hard to believe that ASH PRINCESS was her debut novel, it was…delightful. How did I not read it sooner?

I am sure that ASH PRINCESS will become a series that I will recommend to my friend, that I will re-read in the future. It was beautifully written, and so vivid, and I felt as I was actually there, along with Theo. Despite being a fantasy book, to me, it felt so real. Every time I had put the book down, I thought about it, and wondered what would happen next. Once I reached the end, I couldn’t wait to pick up the next book in the series. ASH PRINCESS was the first book that I read by LAURA SEBASTIAN and now that I have, I cannot to check out rest of her books, rest of the series. Most of all I am curious what will happen between Theo and Cress, considering how it ended between the two of them, and I have feeling that it will be war between two of them. I cannot imagine turning from friends to enemies, but I can’t say I blame Cress for being angry, considering what Theo had done. I have a feeling that Cress might become dangerous, if she hasn’t already. The story, the characters wasn’t only what I liked about this book. Look at the cover, isn’t it stunning? That was actually one of first things that caught my attention and had me curious about the book. Even if you don’t know what book is about, the cover and the title will have you curious enough to check out.

Highly recommend this book.

Some powers come with a price…

I need Evermore Academy more than ever. Alataris will stop at nothing to take me down, even use the ones I love against me. Now I have to trust the one person I know I can’t…

Delightful. Suspenseful. Magical.

I had started reading The Royals: Witch Court back in mid-March, and now that I read WICKED HEX I am even more in love with the series than when I first started reading it. I had feeling that this series would be my type of the book, but I didn’t realize how much I would love this series. I cannot wait to pick up the next book in the series and see what happens, and how can I not after an ending like that? That ending, I was in shock, even I did not see that coming. Now that is a cliffhanger that will have you waiting for more. How can you not help but wonder what happens next? I know that I do. I feel as if WICKED HEX had the most going on from the books that I have read so far. I loved the first two books in the series, but so far WICKED HEX has been my favorite. One of the reasons that I read this one so fast was because I couldn’t force myself to put this one down. Anytime that I tried to, or was ready to, something unexpected happened and I ended up reading for few more hours. There was a lot of going in this one, and not a single page where there wasn’t something going on. WICKED HEX will keep you on edge of your seat from beginning to end, and afterwards will have you craving for more.

Zinnia, I think out of all characters, she is one of my favorites. I also feel like out of everyone in the series, she is the one who changed the most. You can tell how different she is from the first book. I cannot imagine have to go through what she had. You can’t deny how she feels for Tucker. I know that she loves him. Otherwise she wouldn’t do anything to save him. My heart broke for her, and for Tucker, and I cannot imagine watching the love of your love, so close to death. If it was me, I don’t think that I would be able to handle it. To have go through what Zinnia went through, in order to save him, that takes a lot of courage. But I knew that she would do whatever it takes, in order to save Tucker. That ending, I never imagined that she would go that far. The more you read this series, the more intense it seems to get. Usually by the time that you reach the end, you find yourself with question. You find yourself thinking of most of the characters as your friends, and the story becomes real for you. That ending, I still cannot get over it, my emotions are all over the place, and I find myself thinking about it, wondering what is going happen next, and I cannot even imagine how Tucker must be feeling. I got admit that out of the books I read so far, this is the most emotional one.

Do you enjoy young adult fantasy? You should check this series out. It will keep you on edge of your seat from start until end.

As the three women work together to discover how August died, Lizzy strives to hold the show together. Can she keep the Brookstone Extravaganza alive without losing the desire of her heart?

You know by now that I am big historical fiction fan, and after reading WHEN YOU ARE NEAR I am even a bigger fan that I was previously. WHEN YOU ARE NEAR was different from other historical fiction novels that I read this year, and in a good way. I loved it that it was different. I also loved the fact that Wild West Show is featured in the book, which is something that I had always been fascinated with, western books in general. I haven’t read a western book in about a years, and once I started WHEN YOU ARE NEAR ,I remembered why I loved it so much. Besides this book wasn’t just a western but it also had romance with some suspense mixed. I came across this series while looking for some more historical fiction books and came across this one, so I got it at the library and I am glad that I did. From the minute that I started reading it, I found myself turning the pages hours later. How could I not? It had everything that I love about books like these.

If I were asked to pick a favorite character, I don’t think that I would be able to. All of the characters were unique in their own way. Expect for Jefferson and Ella’s father, I had bad feeling about two of them from start. Once I found out what they done to August, I knew that there was no way that I could like them. I cannot imagine how Mary felt like, knowing what happened and not able to do anything about it. If it were me in that situation, I don’t think that I would be able to handle it. I hated how scared they made Ella feel, they are the reason that she ran away. From moment that she ran away, I feared that they would come back and force her to go back with them. I was so happy that she had so many amazing people that were willing to protect her from them. My heart broke for Ella, of how scared she was, and I am glad that she finally told Mary, she needed to know. I loved how they took her in, and protected her. They treated her as she was part of family.

You could tell from start that it was Wes that Lizzy loved, just by way she acted and how she felt when she was around him. When I started reading the book, I assumed that it was Jason that she would end up with at some point. I could tell that he liked her from start, the way he kept wanting be around her, spend time with her. As time passed, I realized that she didn’t feel anything for her, considering how hard she tried to avoid him. I saw how differently she acted around Wesley. I didn’t like how pushy Jason was, even when he realized that she was in love with Wesley. I do know, that this is not a fight that Jason will win, her heart belong to Wes. I loved the two of them. I rooted for two of them together, and I hoped Jason would get the hint and leave her alone. Once I finished the book, I couldn’t help but wonder what will happen to them after. WHEN YOU ARE NEAR is a first book that I read by TRACIE PETERSON and now I cannot wait to read Mary’s story in WHEREVER YOU GO .

A series that I highly recommended to any historical fiction, romance, western fans.

In April 1942, Lale Sokolov, a Slovakian Jew, is forcibly transported to the concentration camps at Auschwitz-Birkenau. When his captors discover that he speaks several languages, he is put to work as a T├Ątowierer (the German word for tattooist), tasked with permanently marking his fellow prisoners.

Imprisoned for more than two and a half years, Lale witnesses horrific atrocities and barbarism—but also incredible acts of bravery and compassion. Risking his own life, he uses his privileged position to exchange jewels and money from murdered Jews for food to keep his fellow prisoners alive.

One day in July 1942, Lale, prisoner 32407, comforts a trembling young woman waiting in line to have the number 34902 tattooed onto her arm. Her name is Gita, and in that first encounter, Lale vows to somehow survive the camp and marry her.

My heart. This book…There is almost no words to describe how I am feeling right now. A heart wrecking story, but the one that you will never forget.

I have been hearing about the THE TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ for quite some time, and recently seen that a lot of people were reading it. Being a big fan of historical fiction, I was curious so I finally got it at the library. From the moment that I started reading the book, I could tell why so many fell in love with this book, it’s… honestly I am not sure how to explain, even though some time had passed since I have read it, my emotions are still all over the place when I think about it. THE TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ will break your heart multiple times and you will cry, and at the same time you will fall in love, you will find it harder to put the book down, the each page that you turn. Your heart will break for Lale, Gita and all the victims at Auschwitz-Birkenau and that horrible time. I cannot even begin to imagine to go through what they had to, how can you lead a normal life after something that horrific? Every page, every chapter I hoped, I prayed for Lale and Gita make out of there, and be together. I just hoped that they would make it out of there alive.

The descriptions in this book were so vivid, but considering that it based on true story, I am not surprised. I don’t know how it feels during that time, but reading the book and the way that everything was described, how the emotions of characters were portrayed, I felt as I was there. I knew that this book was about holocaust and I knew that it was going to be hard to read, and once more I did not realize how hard. I cried few times while reading the book. It was real, and it is real, because it had happened. I know that it was one of the reasons that it felt real. I cannot imagine being a prisoner and working as a tattooist, placing tattoos on other prisoners. I could feel the connection between Gita and Lale from the start, even if Gita was scared, but the way she acted with him, looked at him, I had a feeling that there was something there. I loved the relationship between the two of them and I hoped that they would be able to escape together. Every time that I read the book, I prayed for them to make it out.

THE TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ was an incredible story. It’s hard for me to believe that this was HEATHER MORRIS debut novel, it was beautifully written and author hooks to the story from the very first page. I am eager to see what other stories, adventures the author come up with next, and I cannot wait to read it. I thought it was incredible that she actually met Lale Sokolov, and that she was able to tell his story. Despite being hard to read, it’s the one that should be told. THE TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ deserve a lot more than five stars, it deserves all the stars. I highly recommend this book to everyone. It will take your breath away.

A suicide pact was supposed to keep them together, but a broken promise tore them apart

Allie is devastated when her older sister commits suicide - and not just because she misses her. Allie feels betrayed. The two made a pact that they'd always be together, in life, and in death, but Leah broke her promise and Allie needs to know why.

Her parents hover. Her friends try to support her. And Nick, sweet Nick, keeps calling and flirting. Their sympathy only intensifies her grief.

But the more she clings to Leah, the more secrets surface. Allie's not sure which is more distressing: discovering the truth behind her sister's death or facing her new reality without her.

Powerful. Emotional. Haunting. Beautifully written book about grief.

I didn’t know what to expect when I picked up the book, I haven’t read any books by STACIE RAMEY before. I was blown away, it was an emotional book to read, and at the same time you didn’t want to put it down. It did take me few pages to get into story, and once I did, I was hooked. There were times where it got hard for me to read THE SISTER PACT , and I had put it down. I wanted to wrap Allie in a hug and just hold her in my arms; I cannot imagine losing a sibling the way she lost Leah. My heart broke for Allie multiple times, and I found myself wishing that Allie was dreaming. Reading THE SISTER PACT , the emotions in the book, I felt them. I could feel Allie’s grief, heartbreak, confusion, anger. Even as I reached the ending of the book, I felt all of those emotions. THE SISTER PACT is a book where you should be prepared for your emotions being all over place, even as you finish the book. Despite being a hard subject to read about, a story that you won’t be able to forget. I knew it be hard book to read, but did not realize it how hard. It is one of the reasons that THE SISTER PACT felt so real.

Depression, Suicide, Drug use is something that a lot of people can relate to, and that is something that happens in real life. Depression is something I dealt with since I was teen, it might not got as bad as Leah’s, but I know how it feels like. I could relate how Leah felt like. I also had couple friends through years who attempted suicide, and that was as hard to me, so I could imagine how Allie was feeling. I felt that maybe it why I could relate to those characters more than any others that I read about. I am sure that I am not the only one. I was rooting for Allie, I was hoping for her to get better, but then how could you get over something so painful? But I was hoping that she would find a way. I hoped she would find a way to paint again. I was glad that her mom was there for her, even when she didn’t want her to. I had to force myself to put the book down and if it wasn’t for my hectic schedule this summer, I wouldn’t have. THE SISTER PACT was a breathtaking story. Not only the story, but did you see the cover? That was actually what caught my attention and I am glad that it did. I would highly recommend this book, but be prepared for emotional ride.

At the height of World War II, three women must come together to fight for freedom, for the men they love—and for each other.

When Hazel is given the chance to parachute into Nazi-occupied France, she seizes the opportunity to do more for the British war effort than file paperwork. Alongside her childhood friend, French-born Rose, she quickly rises up the ranks of the freedom fighters. For Rose, the Resistance is a link to her late husband, and a way to move forward without him. What starts out as helping downed airmen becomes a bigger cause when they meet Sophia, a German escapee and fierce critic of Hitler who is wanted by the Gestapo. Together the three women form a bond that will last a lifetime.

But amid the turmoil and tragedy of warfare, all three risk losing everything—and everyone—they hold dear. Will their united front be strong enough to see them through?

A powerful, inspirational, heart aching story, which you will fall in love with.

I had always been captivated by World War I & II books, those are the type of stories that I cannot seem to pull myself away from. The past few books that I read, that were based around World War, I had ended up falling in love with the story. HEARTS OF RESISTANCE was one of those books which I couldn’t get enough of. HEARTS OF RESISTANCE is an emotional book and you will go through different emotions while you read the book, and there will be parts that will be hard to read. However, you will feel yourself captivated into the story only after few pages. I knew that I would love story when I read the first sentence, because of how it was written. It started out with action and as a reader; you cannot help but wonder what will happen next and how they got to that point. HEARTS OF RESISTANCE is one of those books that you eager to see what happens, how it will all end for Hazel, Sophia and Rose, and at same time don’t want to reach the end of the book, not wanting to come to an end. That’s how I felt about this book, and already know that this story that I will recommend to my friends, and will re –read multiple times in the future. HEARTS OF RESISTANCE is impossible book to not fall in love with.

The friendship in this book, I loved it. Sophia had her doubts about Hazel in beginning, but in the end they were there for one another, looking out for each other. The three of them made a wonderful team and I believe because of that, is why they made it as far as they did. Hazel, Sophia and Rose were strong, to have done what they did despite knowing how dangerous it was. I loved the fact that it didn’t stop them; even knowing what could happen to them if they were discovered. There wasn’t a moment where I didn’t worry for the three of them; I knew that they could get discovered at any moment. HEARTS OF RESISTANCE felt realistic to me and every page seemed to pull me into the story more. The point of view from Rose, Hazel and Sophia worked out great, because that way I got to know all three of the girls, and know what they were thinking, feeling. If I were asked which one was my favorite, I don’t think I would be able to pick because they were all unique in their own way. Reading the book, I felt as I was there besides them, watching them progress through the book. I felt proud of them, of what they had accomplished.

I cannot get the story out of my head. A heartbreaking story, and at the same time the one that you won’t forget. HEARTS OF RESISTANCE is a second book that I have read by SORAYA M.LANE and I am sure that she will be an author that I will love for years to come. I am eager to check the rest of her books already. My emotions are still all over the place after reading this book. I would highly recommend this book, I feel like everyone should read this book, you won’t regret it. Do you love historical fiction? Do you enjoy books about World War? HEARTS OF RESISTANCE is the book that you should pick up now. Be ready for emotional and yet thrilling roller coaster ride.

Reese Witherspoon’s grandmother Dorothea always said that a combination of beauty and strength made southern women “whiskey in a teacup.” We may be delicate and ornamental on the outside, she said, but inside we’re strong and fiery.

Reese’s southern heritage informs her whole life, and she loves sharing the joys of southern living with practically everyone she meets. She takes the South wherever she goes with bluegrass, big holiday parties, and plenty of Dorothea’s fried chicken. It’s reflected in how she entertains, decorates her home, and makes holidays special for her kids—not to mention how she talks, dances, and does her hair (in these pages, you will learn Reese’s fail-proof, only slightly insane hot-roller technique). Reese loves sharing Dorothea’s most delicious recipes as well as her favorite southern traditions, from midnight barn parties to backyard bridal showers, magical Christmas mornings to rollicking honky-tonks.

It’s easy to bring a little bit of Reese’s world into your home, no matter where you live. After all, there’s a southern side to every place in the world, right?

I have been excited ever since I found out REESE WITHERSPOON wrote a book, but did not have a chance to check out until recently. WHISKEY IN A TEACUP was a pleasure to read, and even if I am not from south, I love anything southern, especially country music. It could be just be me, I feel as if I learned more about the south then before I read this memoir. WHISKEY IN A TEACUP is more than a memoir, but it had everything, including recipes and advice, and that was one of my favorites in the book. WHISKEY IN A TEACUP made the reader feel as he was involved as well, at least that how Reese had me feeling when I was reading the book. Every page, it had me craving for me and I found myself wondering what other advice she might have, what other recipes might be in the book. Those recipes, they actually made me hungry and I am thinking about trying some of those recipes myself, how could I not? Besides, I am always up for trying something new, and there were few dishes in there that I haven’t tried and can’t wait to.

REESE WITHERSPOON has been one of my favorite actresses for years; I have seen most of her movies. Sweet Home Alabama was my favorite. When I found out about WHISKEY IN TEACUP , I couldn’t wait to check out. Now that I have read it, I am glad that I had. I love the fact that she loves reading like me, and that she shared some of books that I plan on checking out. I always wanted to visit Nashville, and now that I read the book, I want to visit it more, because it seems a type of place that I am going to love. I loved the photographs that were in the book, it made the book to come to life more. WHISKEY IN TEACUP is different from the other memoirs that I read through the years, and in a good way. If you love a memoir, which includes some recipes and tips, this is the book that you should pick up today. After reading WHISKEY IN TEACUP , I find myself wanting to watch a REESE WITHESPOON
