Danger and betrayal, love and loss, secrets and enchantment are woven together in the breathtaking finale to the #1 New York Times bestselling Infernal Devices Trilogy, prequel to the internationally bestselling Mortal Instruments series.

THE INFERNAL DEVICES WILL NEVER STOP COMING

A net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute. Mortmain plans to use his Infernal Devices, an army of pitiless automatons, to destroy the Shadowhunters. He needs only one last item to complete his plan: he needs Tessa Gray.

Charlotte Branwell, head of the London Institute, is desperate to find Mortmain before he strikes. But when Mortmain abducts Tessa, the boys who lay equal claim to her heart, Jem and Will, will do anything to save her. For though Tessa and Jem are now engaged, Will is as much in love with her as ever.

As those who love Tessa rally to rescue her from Mortmain’s clutches, Tessa realizes that the only person who can save her is herself. But can a single girl, even one who can command the power of angels, face down an entire army?

Danger and betrayal, secrets and enchantment, and the tangled threads of love and loss intertwine as the Shadowhunters are pushed to the very brink of destruction in the breathtaking conclusion to the Infernal Devices trilogy

Wow. That ending… I am not sure I even have words for how I am feeling about the end of series right now. Is it really over? I feel in love with Infernal Devices from the moment that I read CLOCKWORK ANGEL . I had a strong feeling that I was going to fall in love with the series; however, I did not know how much I was going to fall in love with it. I finished it couple days ago and I am still thinking about it. This is one of my favorite series, at least for this year. I have a feeling that it will be the one that will stay with me for long time, the one that I will end up re-reading multiple times in the future. My regret is that I did not pick it up sooner than I had. Tessa, Jem, Will, Caroline and even Magnus, I fell in love with them all and cannot seem to get them out of my mind. There is a part of me that is sad that this trilogy is over, I feel as all of the characters became my friends despite being a fictional book. To me, they were real. I felt horrible for Caroline in this book, through the series, she had become one of my favorites. She is one of those characters, who is like a mother to everyone and I know that she would make an amazing mother. I am kind of curious what happened, or will happen to everyone after. It’s something that I cannot help but wonder about, the characters became part of me.

Since the second book, CLOCKWORK PRINCE I could not help but wonder if Tessa and Jem would actually get married, if Jem would find out how Will feels about Tessa. It broke my heard when Jem got sicker and so fast. My heart broke for Tessa, for Will. Of course, there was part of me that was hoping that they could find a cure and Jem would make through it. I was hoping that he and Tessa would have a chance to get married. I liked how calm Jem was once he found out how much Will cares about Tessa. I wish all guys were like Jem, it’s a type of guy that I would not mind getting to know. Despite the fact how Will and Tessa finally got together, I am glad that the two of them had each other; they needed each other at a time like that. I was hoping that the two of them could be happy for a long time, they deserved their happy ending. Both of them deserve their happily after, considering everything that they went through.

CLOCKWORK PRINCESS was an amazing conclusion to a breathtaking series. That ending, I still cannot get over that ending, even I did not see that coming. However, I am so glad that it did. I am so glad that they finally got to be together, after so long. I was starting to give up, to think that it would never happen. When I read it, I could not stop smiling. All I ever wanted was happy conclusion for both of them. I am so glad that they finally got their happily ever after. A perfect ending for an amazing series. I still cannot get the story out of my mind. After reading it, it made me wish that I could such amazing fantasy so that I can write a story of my own. It inspired me. If you love fantasy, be sure to check out Infernal Devices and be prepared for thrilling, magical ride. A must read series.

In the magical underworld of Victorian London, Tessa Gray has at last found safety with the Shadowhunters. But that safety proves fleeting when rogue forces in the Clave plot to see her protector, Charlotte, replaced as head of the Institute. If Charlotte loses her position, Tessa will be out on the street—and easy prey for the mysterious Magister, who wants to use Tessa’s powers for his own dark ends.

With the help of the handsome, self-destructive Will and the fiercely devoted Jem, Tessa discovers that the Magister’s war on the Shadowhunters is deeply personal. He blames them for a long-ago tragedy that shattered his life. To unravel the secrets of the past, the trio journeys from mist-shrouded Yorkshire to a manor house that holds untold horrors, from the slums of London to an enchanted ballroom where Tessa discovers that the truth of her parentage is more sinister than she had imagined. When they encounter a clockwork demon bearing a warning for Will, they realize that the Magister himself knows their every move—and that one of their own has betrayed them.

Tessa finds her heart drawn more and more to Jem, but her longing for Will, despite his dark moods, continues to unsettle her. But something is changing in Will—the wall he has built around himself is crumbling. Could finding the Magister free Will from his secrets and give Tessa the answers about who she is and what she was born to do?

As their dangerous search for the Magister and the truth leads the friends into peril, Tessa learns that when love and lies are mixed, they can corrupt even the purest heart.

Oh, man. How do I begin? My emotions are all over the place right now. It is only the second book in the Infernal Devices , and I am already in love. I guess I should know, considering how the Mortal Instruments books I did read, how good they were. I could not pull myself away from the story. Despite how long the book was, I finished it in two days and one of those days I spent all day reading. I did feel as there was more happening in CLOCKWORK PRINCE then in the CLOCKWORK ANGEL don’t you just love those titles? They are so unique and will pull you into series just by looking at the cover and the titles. However, now I am torn between Jem and Will. I had a bit of mixed feelings about Will in the first book and part of this book as well. Yet, I could tell how much he cared about Tessa, even if he pretended he did not and tried to push her away. I knew that he loved her. That is why I was confused about what could possibly be the reason that he was pushing her away. When the truth came out, it all made sense for me and my heart actually broke for Will. I cannot imagine having to live with that for as long as he had. It did make sense for his behavior and why he kept pushing almost everyone away.

Tessa, I love her. Yet I feel as if she needs to decide whom it is that she genuinely wants to be with. I think it is not fair to either of the boys. I do believe that she cares about both of them. I saw how she reacts to both of them and there is an attraction between her and Jem and her and Will. I am not sure if it's just me, but I feel as if Jem loves her more that she loves him. I felt as there was a bit more attraction between her and Will. Though I do think that if she did not love Jem, she would not agree. I am still a Tessa and Jem fan and maybe I am wrong about her; maybe it just a feeling I have. I do know that she does love him, just the way she acted around him in this book. I just do not believe that she loves him the way that he loves her. However, that could always change. It is making me curious about what will happen in the next book if the two of them will actually go through it. I am hoping that they will. I cannot wait to see what happens between the two of them in CLOCKWORK PRINCESS . I do feel bad for Will when he finally gets a chance to tell Tessa everything and how he feels. I can’t even imagine how he must be feeling, considering that Jem is his best friend.

CLOCKWORK PRINCE is a book, a series that you will have a hard time putting down. I did. Right after I finished this one, I picked up CLOCKWORK PRINCESS because I needed to know what would happen with all the characters next, especially Tessa, Will and Jem. You cannot help but be curious about them. Those three are the characters that you will fall in love with. To me, they feel real. I am both curious and sad at how this story might end, mostly because I don’t want to have to say goodbye. Infernal Devices is an extraordinary series and one that I wish I picked up sooner than I did. If you love young adult, fantasy with adventure, romance and unexpected twist, check out Infernal Devices . I would highly recommend this to everyone. A story, the characters that will stay with you.

 CONTAINS SPOILERS

In a time when Shadowhunters are barely winning the fight against the forces of darkness, one battle will change the course of history forever. Welcome to the Infernal Devices trilogy, a stunning and dangerous prequel to the New York Times bestselling Mortal Instruments series.

The year is 1878. Tessa Gray descends into London’s dark supernatural underworld in search of her missing brother. She soon discovers that her only allies are the demon-slaying Shadowhunters—including Will and Jem, the mysterious boys she is attracted to. Soon they find themselves up against the Pandemonium Club, a secret organization of vampires, demons, warlocks, and humans. Equipped with a magical army of unstoppable clockwork creatures, the Club is out to rule the British Empire, and only Tessa and her allies can stop them...

I have read the first three Mortal Instruments books, but that was back in 2017 so it has been a while. I do remember how much I enjoyed those books, how I could not pull myself from the books. I have been hearing about Infernal Devices for some time now and it has been on my to-read list for some time. I finally checked out from the library and from the moment that I did, I wish that I picked it up sooner. CLOCKWORK ANGEL is the type of fantasy book that I had always loved and another book that made it impossible for me to put down, I wanted to see what would happen with Will, Jem, Tessa next and the others. CLOCKWORK ANGEL , don’t you love that title? I feel that even if you never read any of CASSANDRA CLARE books, the title and the cover itself will capture your attention and have you picking up the book. I feel as most of CASSANDRA CLARE’S book titles will spark your interest. It did for me. Besides, I love books that deal with anything supernatural. This book was not any different and even though I just read the first book, I am already in love with the series.

Honestly, I am not sure if I would be able to tell you a favorite character, there were few that I liked. However, I did like both Tessa and Jem a lot. I am not sure if it was just me, but I felt, as the two of them should be together. I could tell that there was a special connection between the two of them, just the way the two of them were with each other. Of course, I could see that there was an attraction between Tessa and Will as well; however I seemed to have a hate/ like relationship with Will’s character. There were times that I liked him but other times not so much. I think it was mostly due to how he acted at times; it felt as he was going through quite a few mood swings. Those moods sometimes had me wondering if he actually liked Tessa, it felt as he was not always happy that she was at the institute. As time passed, as the book progressed, I could tell that he really cared about her. It seemed as he even might be in love with her. It was one of the reasons why I was not happy how he treated her towards the end, and I wonder if he regretted it in the end. It feels as both Will and Tessa seemed to be going back and forth with their feeling for one another. I am curious to see what might possibly happen between the two of them next.

CLOCKWORK ANGEL is filled with quite a bit of suspense, action and there is not a moment where you do not wonder what will happen next. There are twists that you don’t see coming. Like with Tessa’s brother, Nate, his betrayal. Even I did not see that coming. What type of brother does that to his own sister? It seemed as if he had everyone tricked, though Will seemed to not trust him from the beginning. I am sure that Tessa and he will never have a good relationship now; I cannot even imagine what she must going through. I really like Tessa; she is probably my most favorite character in the series so far. Tessa went through so much and with everything she had to go through with Dark Sisters. To me, she is strong and determined. I am curious to see what happens the most with her. In general , CLOCKWORK ANGEL is a book that is impossible to put down. I know if it was not for classes, work, I would finish it sooner than I had. I already have feeling that it will end being one of my favorite series. I am eager to see what happens in the rest of the series. A must-read for any YA fantasy fan.

Zahra Gaines is missing.

After three long years away, Ruthie Hayden arrives in her hometown of Anchorage, Alaska to this devastating news. Zahra was Ruthie's best friend--the only person who ever really understood her--and she vows to do whatever it takes to find her.

Zahra vanished from a party just days before Ruthie's return, but the more people she talks to, the more she realizes that the Zahra she knew disappeared long before that fateful night. Gone is the whimsical, artistic girl who loved books and knew Ruthie's every secret. In her place is an athlete, a partier, a girl with secrets of her own. Darker still are the rumors that something happened to Zahra while Ruthie was gone, something that changed her forever...

As Ruthie desperately tries to piece together the truth, she falls deeper and deeper into her friend's new world, circling closer to a dangerous revelation about what Zahra experienced in the days before her disappearance--one that might be better off buried.

Intriguing. Filled with unexpected twists.

Oh man, I do not even know how to begin to explain this book. I KNOW YOU REMEMBER is one of those books that will have you going through the emotions from beginning until the end. A book where the twists were unexpected and you found yourself in shock as you read it. I had a feeling that this book would be intense, based to the summary of the book and yet I was not prepared for some of the things that I read. I found myself how I did not see it, but then there were no signs pointing to it. I KNOW YOU REMEMBER is a book when the person that you do not even think about being involved in some way is the most troubled one. I do think that is what is the most interesting about this book, is the way it is written and it makes you wonder if maybe there were signs but you missed it. At first, I was not even sure that I believed it, that there was a possibility that she was involved in some way. I even liked her and maybe that is why I had trouble believing it at first. Those are the types of mysteries that are my favorites when the most unexpected happens. It is intriguing and keeps you on reading because you find yourself needed to see what happens next, how it all ends.

The descriptions, the emotions of Ruthie, Zahra were incredible. I felt as I was there along with them, feeling and going through everything that they were. Both of those characters were real to me. I liked Ruthie, at least in the beginning I did. She seemed type of character that I would liked to be friends with. At least until the truth was discovered. I feel that if it was not for Zahra, the truth might never been found out. There are some scenes in I KNOW YOU REMEMBER that was hard to read and yet you will find yourself unable to stop. I did wonder about the title when I came across it at library, besides the cover, it was one of the first things that had me pick up the book and check out. Once I read the book, the title and the cover of the book made a lot sense and it fit the story perfectly. I still cannot seem to get the story out of my mind. It was a first book that I read by JENNIFER DONALDSON and now that I have, I am eager to check her other works.

Do you love young adult? Do you enjoy mysteries with unexpected twists? Then be sure to check out I KNOW YOU REMEMBER. However, be prepared for electrifying, extraordinary ride!

Come on, Bayview, you know you've missed this.

A ton of copycat gossip apps have popped up since Simon died, but in the year since the Bayview four were cleared of his shocking death, no one's been able to fill the gossip void quite like he could. The problem is no one has the facts.

Until now.

This time it's not an app, though—it's a game.

Truth or Dare.

Phoebe's the first target. If you choose not to play, it's a truth. And hers is dark.

Then comes Maeve and she should know better—always choose the dare.

But by the time Knox is about to be tagged, things have gotten dangerous. The dares have become deadly, and if Maeve learned anything from Bronwyn last year, it's that they can't count on the police for help. Or protection.

Simon's gone, but someone's determined to keep his legacy at Bayview High alive. And this time, there's a whole new set of rules.

Haunting. Thrilling.

I’m in love. This is just the type of books that I love. I discovered KAREN M.MCMANUS last year when I came across ONE OF US IS LYING which I ended up re-reading again this year before reading ONE OF US IS NEXT and I was not disappointed. I am not sure that I can describe my emotions while reading this book, there were a lot of them. There were a lot emotions going through each of the characters and I found myself feeling them all as well. Like the first book, ONE OF US IS NEXT is filled with unexpected twist that will keep you reading late into night. It happened to me few times while reading it, I could not pull myself away from the story. I loved all of the characters but my favorite was Maeve, I actually liked her since she appeared in first book and was happy that she was featured in this one. When I thought that she got sick again, I was scared and found myself hoping that it was not the case. I went through all the emotions that she went through during that time. It is hard not to like Maeve, she is type of character that I would love for a friend.

ONE OF US IS NEXT is a book that is hard not to be engaged in. The author gets you engaged in each of characters stories, causing you to bond with them, relate to them. From the moment that the game started, I was curious who it was, if it was one of them or someone at school and how they knew so much? The more the book progressed, the more intense the story got and by then it was impossible to pull myself away. I had a feeling that there was something off about Emma, just the way she was acting. But even I never imagined the real reason that she started drinking that much. That is one of my favorite things about KAREN M. MCMANUS is that she always keeps you on edge of your seat and just when you think that you have it figured out, another twists comes your way. ONE OF US IS NEXT is a book that will stay with you, a story that you will find yourself recommending to your friends. A book that will have you thinking about what happens to the characters after. It is extraordinary.

ONE OF US IS NEXT is the second book that I read by the author, and already she has become one of my favorites. I love her writing style, her characters and way she keeps you involved in story and the characters. I feel like this book, this series deserves more than five stars. I would highly recommend this book, a must read. I cannot wait to see what KAREN M.MCMANUS has in store for us next.

As Reza and Art grow closer, Reza struggles to find a way out of his deception that won't break Judy's heart--and destroy the most meaningful friendship he's ever known

Woah. I was not sure what to expect from this book when I picked it up from library. However, I remember hearing few good reviews about it and I wanted to check it out. Once I started to read it, I knew that LIKE A LOVE STORY would end up a book that I was going to enjoy, instead I ended up falling in love with it. I do not think that there was anything about this story that I did not enjoy. I felt as if every page, every chapter had me falling more in love. Multiple times I had force myself to put down due to work, school and homework. I always looked forward to returning to it that night and seeing what was going to happen next. LIKE A LOVE STORY had me wishing that I had more time to read. There were few times at night where I did read later than I should have but that is because I was engaged with story and had trouble setting it down. There were a lot of emotions that went through me while reading LIKE A LOVE STORY and I felt inspired afterwards. It’s such magical, breathtaking story. I am still thinking about it.

I liked all of the characters; however, both Art and Reza were my favorites. I felt the connection and attraction between Reza and Art from the moment that the two of them met. I think that Reza knew that but instead of accepting it, he denied it. He should not date Judy, and if he told her right from the start, all the pain and the anger could had been avoiding. At least that is the feeling I have. I felt horrible for Judy and how she got hurt, but at the same time I was happy when Art and Reza finally got together. It was clear from the moment that the two of them got together, that they belonged with each other. I do wish that Reza was not so afraid all the time, but understood why he was. Considering what was going on, I would be too. I did find myself hoping that at some point he would let Art in, that he would see that there was nothing to be afraid of. I hoped a happy ending for both of them, considering what they had go through to get together. It was one of the reasons that I was not too happy with the ending; it was not the one that I was hoping for.

I have read few LGBT novels through the years, but it was nothing LIKE A LOVE STORY . It one of the most incredible, inspiring books that I have read. A book that will stay with you and you will find yourself thinking about long after turning the last page. It is powerful. A story about love, friendship, hope. A book that I would highly recommend to everyone.
