What happens when you fall in love with someone everyone seems determined to fear?

Ninety seconds can change a life — not just daily routine, but who you are as a person. Gretchen Asher knows this, because that’s how long a stranger held her body to the ground. When a car sped toward them and Gretchen’s attacker told her to run, she recognized a surprising terror in his eyes. And now she doesn’t even recognize herself.

Ninety seconds can change a life — not just the place you live, but the person others think you are. Phoenix Flores-Flores knows this, because months after setting off toward the U.S. / Mexico border in search of safety for his brother, he finally walked out of detention. But Phoenix didn’t just trade a perilous barrio in El Salvador for a leafy suburb in Atlanta. He became that person — the one his new neighbors crossed the street to avoid.

Ninety seconds can change a life — so how will the ninety seconds of Gretchen and Phoenix’s first encounter change theirs?

There are so much to love about THE RADIUS OF US and not a single page, a single chapters where you won’t go through a lot of emotions. There won’t be a single page in this book where you won’t wonder what will happen to Gretchen & Phoenix next, where their life would lead them next. How can you not? THE RADIUS OF US was breathtaking, a story that will pull you in from the first word. I am serious. At least that was how it was for me. Within the first two chapters of the book, I fell in love. I should know, I should expected this since I loved MARIE MARQUARDT other two novels. Those two took my breath away, and I didn’t think I could be more amazed. I was wrong. It seems to me, everytime that I read her books, I fall more in love with her writing. MARIE MARQUARDT is one of those wonderfull writers where it’s impossible to not love her books. THE RADIUS OF US is a 3rd book that I have read by her and I am already craving for more. I am already wishing that more of her books were out. I know that she is going be an author that I will love for years to come.

THE RADIUS OF US is filled with a lot of emotions. As you read the book, you will find yourself going through those emotions as well. Even if you haven’t gone through what Gretchen & Phoenix gone through. You will feel for those characters. I did. Every chapter had me wondering what would happen next, had we questioning what would happen with Phoenix and Gretchen, if they would make it. Seemed like there was always something, an obstacle getting in their way. Especially for Phoenix. I liked fact that he is from El Salvador since my roommate and few of my friends are from there. I feel as he was the one person, who seemed to make Gretchen happy, safe after what happened to her. I had a feeling that Gretchen loved him, considering how she helped him with his little brother. Phoenix loves her too. I loved reading the scenes between two of them. I was glad that the two of them could finally be happy. After everything that the two of them went through, they deserve happiness.

I don’t think that I will be able to explain, how much I love this book. There are so many emotions. I believe that it’s pretty emotional book, but in an effective way. Plus I think it’s hard yet important subject to write about. That is one of the things that makes THE RADIUS OF US a powerful and inspirational book. You will think about the story, about the character even once you reach the end. I did. Actually I couldn’t stop thinking about it. If that happens once you read the book, it means that will stay with you. I wanted to write, I wanted to write as well as she did. I was curious about the title, and once I started reading it. All of it made sense. THE RADIUS OF US is a story that I will go back to, that I will re -read in the future. It deserves every star. A story that should be read by everyone.

Juliette Ferrars thought she'd won. She took over Sector 45, was named the new Supreme Commander, and now has Warner by her side. But she's still the girl with the ability to kill with a single touch—and now she's got the whole world in the palm of her hand.

When tragedy hits, who will she become? Will she be able to control the power she wields and use it for good?

This book, this story was…breathtaking, heart aching, remarkable. RESTORE ME will play with your emotions, at least that what happened while I was reading it. Despite that, it will be impossible to put it down. I didn’t want put it down, but at same time I didn’t want reach the end because I knew it will be a while until next book is out. Once I did, I was blown away, I did not expect that. Now, how am I supposed wait a year to see what happens? I know for fact that my emotions are all over the place now. That ending… unexpected. I know I shouldn’t be surprised, TAHEREH MAFI has done that all through the series. However, that was most unexpected twist. There was a part of me, that wanted to go back to beginning of book and re-read RESTORE ME again. I have a feeling that it will be a book that I will re-read before the next one comes out. I’m happy that TAHEREH MAFI decided to write more book in Shatter Me Series . I was already in love with this series, the characters. Now, after reading the 4th book in the series, I believe that I am even more in love with it. One of best young adult fantasy series. I can’t seem to get enough of it.

As you know by now, I love Warner and Juliette together. I love reading the scenes between two of them. You can see, tell how much in love they are with one another. Which is another reason that I loved RESTORE ME because it was written from both Juliette and Warner’s point of view. I felt like I could connect, got to know Warner better by reading from his point of view. I loved the character before, but now I love him more. Yes, he kept things from Juliette, but he didn’t do it on purpose. Besides, everybody makes mistakes. The emotions in this book, both Juliette and Warner’s were so well written, I could feel myself feeling those emotions while I was reading the book. I could feel Juliette’s anger, confusion, sadness and Warner’s grief, guilt, heartbreak. I am not sure if I can make it an entire year, to see what happens after. Especially with Warner and Juliette, I can’t help but wonder if he’s okay. Can they repair what happened between two of them? I am hoping, they can. Juliette loves him so there might be a chance.

Kenji, another character I love. He helped Warner even though the two of them dislike one another. I love how he is always there for Juliette. Everyone needs a friend like him. Someone that they can always go to. I hope that he is okay, that he will be okay. I don’t think that I will be happy if he’s not. Story and characters wasn’t all I loved about this story. Did you see that cover? I think from the entire series, this one is my favorite one so far. I love the colors. The cover alone, and the title will hook any reader. Shatter Me covers are so unique, unlike any that I seen before and type that will catch anyone’s eyes. TAHEREH MAFI did it once again, a beautiful, thrilling addition to the series. I can’t wait to see what she has waiting for us next. A book, a series that deserves more than 5 stars, five is not enough, deserves so much more.

Be ready for thrilling, emotional ride. A story that you won’t be able to get out of your mind.

Going rogue in an effort to rescue her kidnapped parents has cost Reagan Hillis her automatic ticket to the Training Academy. But becoming a Black Angel is the only way Reagan will be able to exact revenge on her mother’s merciless killer, Santino Torres.

When Reagan is given a chance to prove that she’s worthy of training to be a Black Angel, she also gets the first chance she’s ever had to be her true self. No aliases. No disguises.

But when her friend Luke joins her at the Black Angels training compound, Reagan finds herself once again torn between the person she was and the person she wants to be. Reagan has to prove that she's as good as her parents trained her to be, because she’ll never find Torres without the Black Angels’ help.

I have been looking forward to this book, ever since I read the first book, YOU DON’T KNOW MY NAME last year. After that cliffhanger in the first book, I have been eager to see what happens next with Reagan ever since. Now that I have read YOU WON’T KNOW I’M GONE especially after that ending, I am even more curious than ever what’s to come for Reagan and Luke next. This story sucks you right from the first page up until the last page, and afterwards have you craving for more. I can’t believe that I have to wait a year, to see what happens next. I’m not sure if I can last a year. I finished the book a while back and I am still wondering. What will happen with Luke & Reagan? Will they be available to come back? How can you not and wonder? After that twist in the book. I should seen it coming, but even I didn’t think that she would actually go through with it.

I loved YOU DON’T KNOW MY NAME and I think that’s when I feel in love with story, the characters. However, I fell in love with series more after reading YOU WON’T KNOW I’M GONE . This are my type of books, one filled with romance, action, suspense and twists that you don’t see coming. I actually enjoyed the 2nd book in Black Angel Chronicles a bit more than the first book. I am not quite sure why, there wasn’t as much action in this one, but from moment that I picked up, I was hooked. I was happy for a snow day today, so I could finish reading it. I spent few hours doing that, until I reached the end. Of course afterwards I wished that the next book was out already. I love KRISTEN ORLANDO writing and how she finds a way to connect the reader with the main character, Reagan. I’m in love, with the series, the characters. Black Angel Chronicles is unlike any thriller book or series I read before. I have feeling that it’s series I will be re-reading multiple times in the future.

I loved the new characters, Cam and Anusha. They were both unique in their own way, and I loved how they all became such good friends. I think that’s what she needed, friends who knew the real her. I am curious to find out what happens to them as well. Would they be in danger too? I enjoyed the fact that most of this book focused on Black Angels Training. I felt as if I found out more about Black Angels and what goes into training. If it were me, I would not lasted there long. That’s a lot of work. A lot of danger too. Reagan worked so hard, and now that mostly went down the drain for her, and for Luke. It has me wondering if the things between the two of them be the same again. Luke loves her, and what she done, I can’t see that it will. I am hoping that it will. Luke is who she needs, who she needs by her side.

Do you like thriller stories? With some romance and a lot of action and mystery. Black Angels Chronicles is a series that you will want to check out. You will be hooked . Be ready for a thrilling ride.

Back when they were still strangers, TJ Carvalho witnessed the only moment in Vivi Flannigan’s life when she lost control entirely. Now, TJ can’t seem to erase that moment from his mind, no matter how hard he tries. Vivi doesn’t remember any of it, but she’s determined to leave it far behind. And she will.

But when Vivi returns home from her first year away at college, her big plans and TJ’s ambition to become a nurse land them both on the heart ward of a university hospital, facing them with a long and painful summer together – three months of glorified babysitting for Ángel, the problem patient on the hall. Sure, Ángel may be suffering from a life-threatening heart infection, but that doesn’t make him any less of a pain.

As it turns out, though, Ángel Solís has a thing or two to teach them about all those big plans, and the incredible moments when love gets in their way.

A stunning, heartbreaking story about love, friendship, grief and hope.

I’m not sure I can find the word to describe the emotions that I was feeling, as I read this story. I was blown away . I think that this is a book that everyone should read. Trust me, when I tell you that FLIGHT SEASON is not a story that you will forget. I finished it last night and I still find myself thinking about the story, the characters. I had a feeling that I was going to love this book, I read DREAM THINGS TRUE back in 2015 and loved it. I should expected this. I guess I did not realize that I would end up falling in love with story. I laughed, I cried. I think that I went through the emotions that TJ, Vivi and Angel all went through. I felt connected all three of them. If I were asked which of three of them was my favorite, I don’t think that I would be able to pick because I loved all of them. It’s like asking to pick a favorite friend, there is not such thing as favorite. TJ, Vivi and Angel, by reading their stories I felt as if they became my friends.

I felt as if there was something, an attraction between TJ and Vivi, a minute that they met. I am not sure if TJ liked her too much at first, and I think it was because the first time he met her, she was messed up. I guess in a way he judged her a little because of how he acted, last time that he seen her. At least that the feeling that I got. However that didn’t seem to last long, especially once he started to spend more time with her, and Angel. Once he got to know her, it was not long before he became attracted to her. Even Angel saw it before he did. It was not long before I wanted them to end up together. I could see how much TJ cared about her, probably a way that no guy cared about her before. After what she went through, Vivi deserved her happily after. Both did. I loved reading the scenes between the two of them, most of time they had me smiling.

My favorite was the friendship that Angel, TJ and Vivi developed through book. That was one of things that surprised me. I think it was due to way that Angel acted to TJ and Vivi in beginning of the book. It was not long before the three of them were best friends. The most unexpected friendship. I wasn’t fond of Angel at start, I felt sorry for him but I did not care for his attitude. It was not long before he had me laughing. I thought what TJ and Vivi did for him towards the end was sweet. By the last couple chapters of the book, I was crying and it was good thing I was at home at that time. I couldn’t help myself. I love the birds facts, the bird illustrations in FLIGHT SEASON , and I feel that I learned more about birds that I knew prior to reading book. There is part of me that wants to learn more about birds after I read the book, and I just might.

FLIGHT SEASON might only 2nd book that I read by MARIE MARQUARDT and it won’t be last. I am already amazed by her, by her writing. Once I finished reading the book, I felt inspired to write. I have feeling that she will the author that I will read for years to come. She’s an author that is worth checking out. A writer whose stories will touch your heart.

A single choice can change everything.

Lena Wise is always looking forward to tomorrow, especially at the start of her senior year. She’s ready to pack in as much friend time as possible, to finish college applications, and to maybe let her childhood best friend Sebastian know how she really feels about him. For Lena, the upcoming year is going to be epic—one of opportunities and chances.

Until one choice, one moment, destroys everything.

Now Lena isn’t looking forward to tomorrow. Not when friend time may never be the same. Not when college applications feel all but impossible. Not when Sebastian might never forgive her for what happened.

For what she let happen.

With the guilt growing each day, Lena knows that her only hope is to move on. But how can she move on when she and her friends’ entire existences have been redefined? How can she move on when tomorrow isn’t even guaranteed?

A heart breaking, haunting story.

I’m not sure how to begin to explain, what this book done to my feelings. There were so many thoughts, feelings going through me as I read IF THERE’S NO TOOMOROW from start to the end of the book. I had never been in Lena’s shoes and can’t even begin to imagine what she was going through. Lena’s emotions, thoughts were described in such detail, I pictured it all and went through all the emotions that she was feeling in that tough time. If I were me, I know that I would never be able to stop blaming myself, if I ever move past it. Her family, her friends and of course her best friend, Sebastian. It’s always important to have such great support system in such difficult time. You can’t help but love this book, despite how heart aching and hard it was to read at times. You will cry. IF THERE’S NO TOOMOROW starts at the scene after the accidient, the scene that will pull you into book right away, will have you turning pages. You will wonder what will happen, and how it lead up to that point. Once you start to turn the pages, you will turn them until you reach the last one. If I didn’t have work, I would read it faster than I have. It was a tough subject to read about, but an important one. I am sure that it’s a subject that few people can relate to. Either having been in same situation or have a friend who gone through same one.

Sebastian and Lena : I could see how much Lena cared about him, how much she loved him. She’s strong to be able to remain friends with him after he rejected her. I’m not sure if I be able to be so close to someone who I was in love with, but who didn’t love me back. I’m glad that she did, she needed him. Especially after her and Abby seemed to drift apart after the accident, well more like Abby distanced herself from Lena. I did not like how she did it, but understood why she did it. I’m happy that Sebastian was there, even when she pushed him away, he was there. He was always there. There were times, just the way he was always there and considering he sneaked at her window middle of night, if there was possibility that there was something else, that he cared about her more than he was telling her. I guess I wasn’t that surprised when the truth came out. It did come out at worst possible time, but then maybe not. They couldn’t grief their friends forever, they have move on at some point. Besides I am sure their friends would want them to be happy. I smiled when the two of them finally ended up together, even if it did take them a while to get there.

I have read multiple novels by JENNIFER L.ARMENTROUT through years. First being Lux Series . There hasn’t been a book of hers that I read that I didn’t love. However, I think that IF THERE’S NO TOOMOROW has to be my favorite. At least right now, that could always change later. Right now, I can’t seem to get this incredible story out of my head. I keep thinking about it. I have feeling that this is the story that will stay with me for years to come, a story that I will end up re-reading multiple time in future, at least that’s a feeling I get. A powerful, beautiful story about love, friendship and a choice that could change everything. I believe that IF THERE’S NO TOOMOROW is a book that everyone should read.

It will keep you on edge of your seat, and take your breath away. Be ready for an emotional ride that you won’t forget.

Every day a different body. Every day a different life. Every day in love with the same girl.

There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere.

It’s all fine until the morning that A wakes up in the body of Justin and meets Justin’s girlfriend, Rhiannon. From that moment, the rules by which A has been living no longer apply. Because finally A has found someone he wants to be with—day in, day out, day after day.

There a lot of things that I loved about this book. I finished it in one day, because I couldn’t force myself to put it down. I didn’t want to put it down. I was so drawn into A’s story that when I reached the end, I felt a bit sad that such beautiful story was ending. I don’t think there was anything about EVERY DAY that I didn’t love. I know for fact that EVERY DAY is a story that is going to stay with me for a long time, a story that I will return and re-read multiple times. I had been wanting to read EVERY DAY for a while and I been hearing a lot about it. Now that I read it, I can tell why a lot of people were talking about. It’s such beautiful, yet heartbreaking story that you cannot help but fall in love with. I fell in love within the first few pages, I kept on reading because I wanted to see what would happen next. But as I reached the end I felt as I was saying goodbye to friends.

Rhiannon, their relationship if you could call it that, was unlike any others. I can’t imagine how hard it must be to love someone who was a different person every day, even if she knew that it was A. I feel that it’s harder to be with someone, to love them if they are different person every day. In the end, it’s like Rhiannon said, that he always leaves. I can’t imagine going through that heartbreak every day. I can understand Rhiannon’s hesitation about being with him. I know that it was hard for her to come to that decision. I can understand it thought and I think that if I were her I might done the same, I wouldn’t be able to do it either. However, I was still heartbroken for both of them. I was hoping that there would be a way around it. I cried at that part, but then how could I not? Those two had a connection, that Rhiannon didn’t even have with Justin.

EVERY DAY is a 2nd book I read by DAVID LEVITHAN , the first one was that he wrote with one of my favorite authors JOHN GREEN . After reading EVERY DAY I can’t wait to see what other adventures he has in story for me next. A beautiful, remarkable love story. If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would because it deserves so much more. I just hope that the movie will be as amazing. There is part of me that wonders what happens with Rhiannon and A next. I felt like the two of them became my friends and I can’t help but be curious what waits for them next.

Seventeen-year-old Abby Turner’s summer isn’t going the way she’d planned. She has a not-so-secret but definitely unrequited crush on her best friend, Cooper. She hasn’t been able to manage her mother’s growing issues with anxiety. And now she’s been rejected from an art show because her work “has no heart.” So when she gets another opportunity to show her paintings Abby isn’t going to take any chances.

Which is where the list comes in.

Abby gives herself one month to do ten things, ranging from face a fear (#3) to learn a stranger’s story (#5) to fall in love (#8). She knows that if she can complete the list she’ll become the kind of artist she’s always dreamed of being. But as the deadline approaches, Abby realizes that getting through the list isn’t as straightforward as it seems… and that maybe—just maybe—she can’t change her art if she isn’t first willing to change herself.

Magnificent.

Have you ever read that book, that seemed to mess with your emotions from start, to the end? Where you found yourself falling in love with characters and the story only after few pages? LOVE, LIFE AND THE LIST is that book for me. I already finished yet and I am still amazed by it, I can’t to seem to get the story out of my mind. I can’t help myself but wonder, What’s next for them? I am curious what happens with Abby and Cooper after, if they would remain together for a while. How can you not wonder? Especially after everything that both of them had to face, to get to the point where they are. That’s one of things that I loved about LOVE, LIFE AND THE LIST was their relationship wasn’t where they confessed their feelings and ended up together. Cooper and Abby’s relationship was more realistic. As you reader, you couldn’t help but wonder if Abby move past the crush she had on her best friend, and I could see that she tried to, with Elliott. Soon, it became clear that it was more than a crush. I don’t know how she managed to hold her feeling for as long as she had. I knew that Cooper cared about her, but I wasn’t sure if he felt about her, the way that Abby did about him. At least I wasn’t sure at first. All through the book, I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen, if anything. If Cooper would find out the truth about her feelings, and what would happen if he did. It was not long before two of them became my favorite characters.

Besides Abby and Cooper, I loved Lacey and Abby’s grandfather. Lacey, because of way she became such a great friend to Abby, especially with the whole mess with Cooper. Lacey was there, to help her without questions asked. I think it was a good thing that she met Lacey when she did. I hope that they two of them would stay friends for years to come. Abby’s grandfather, you can’t help but love him. There were multiple times through the novel where he had me laughing. I also loved how much he cared about his daughter, and how he attempted to help. Despite the fact that she refused to get help at first. I am just glad that she finally agreed that she needed help. I loved that it also dealt with art. I can’t draw or paint at all, but I love anything that has to do with art. I was as excited, as proud like everyone else when she got into that art program. That’s another thing that I am curious about. Yet, I know that she will be great.

A beautiful, memorable story about love, friendship, hope, fear and second chances. Out of all KASIE WEST books that I have read, this is my favorite. I can’t wait to see what adventure she will come up with next book.
