Ryder is the hardest Montgomery brother to figure out—with a tough-as-nails outside and possibly nothing too soft underneath. He’s surly and unsociable, but when he straps on a tool belt, no woman can resist his sexy swagger. Except apparently Hope Beaumont, the innkeeper of his own Inn BoonsBoro…

As the former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement and glamour, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate the joys of small-town living. She’s where she wants to be—except for in her love life. Her only interaction with the opposite sex has been sparring with the infuriating Ryder, who always seems to get under her skin. Still, no one can deny the electricity that crackles between them…a spark that ignited with a New Year’s Eve kiss.

While the Inn is running smoothly, thanks to Hope’s experience and unerring instincts, her big-city past is about to make an unwelcome—and embarrassing—appearance. Seeing Hope vulnerable stirs up Ryder’s emotions and makes him realize that while Hope may not be perfect, she just might be perfect for him…

Out of all Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy , I think that THE PERFECT HOPE Is my favorite title out of the books and it fits perfectly. I had loved Hope from beginning of the series when she came from DC. Ryder on the other hand, I wasn’t his biggest fan, out of all Montgomery brothers, he seemed to be the most difficult, stubborn one. Not to mention the fact how rude he was to Hope when she first started at the Inn. After I had read the novel, I am curious maybe the reason that he been rude to her was due to fact that he felt an attraction towards Hope. An attraction that he was trying to deny it. I believe that was the same feeling that Hope was having as well. Ever since the two of them shared a New Year’s Eve kiss, I was eager to find out if it would progress into something more. To be honest, I didn’t really see Ryder and Hope together, not at first. Until it was clear that he cared about her more than he was willing to admit.

I didn’t think that I could like Ryder, and at first I didn’t. Yet, he ended up becoming one of my favorite characters. I thought it was sweet, how he got her flowers and looked out for Hope when her ex, his ex’s wife upset her. Ryder showed the side of him that I didn’t think she had. To me, besides Beckett and Clare, I had this feeling that Ryder and Hope had the most connection, even when they were denying it. Even Lizzy saw it before they did. I could tell that Hope was happy with Ryder, truly happy despite how overprotective he acted at times. I knew that he loved Hope but even I did not see proposal coming, even I know I should have considering how the other two books ended. To me, Ryder did not seem the marrying type. I did find myself smiling, happy that both them found their happily after.

Part of me wants at least one other book, I want see what happens with everyone next. When I reached the last page, I was hesitant to turn the page because I knew it would be over. A beautiful, heartbreaking, haunting story. I was also happy that they were finally able to find Lizzy’s Billy, I was beginning to wonder if they ever would and so Lizzy can finally get her peace. I didn’t want to say goodbye. So far these three books had been my favorite NORA ROBERTS novels. I am in love. I know that those stories will stay with me, there are still days that I find myself thinking about them, and wondering what happened to them after. It will leave you breathless. Every single page.
