Wedding photographer Mackensie "Mac" Elliot is most at home behind the camera, but her focus is shattered moments before an important wedding rehearsal when she bumps into the bride-to-be's brother...an encounter that has them both seeing stars.

. might be just what she needs to take her mind off bridezillas. Of course, casual flings can turn into something more when you least expect it. And Mac will have to turn to her three best friends-and business partners-to see her way to her own happy ending

I have been hearing about NORA ROBERTS for a while from few of my friends. It looked as if a lot of people seemed to love her writing, and it made me curious and I finally checked out her book. VISION IN WHITE was a first novel that I have read by her. Not long after I started reading the book and I could see why she is so loved. I was hooked to Mac and Carter’s story within seconds, from the moment that the two of them had met. I had felt like I was part of their story as the book progressed. I couldn’t get enough the two of them, it was fascinating to read about their journey. I was waiting to see when Mac would stop pushing him away and realize that she needed someone like him in her life. I was rooting for both of them.

I love the story plot in general and fact that it had to do with weddings. My mom had photographed few weddings so I loved the fact that Mac was a photographer, it reminded me of my mom and her passion for photography which is just what Mac had. I also loved how all of the friends were dedicated to their business but at the same time were there for one another, despite the situation. That’s what real friendship should be like. It reminds me of few of my friends. The type of friends who be there through thick and thin. I loved reading about their loyalty, it had me smiling.

There was one person that I couldn’t stand. Mac’s mother, she was one charcter that you can’t like. To me, it felt like she acted like a child instead of adult like she was supposed be. Always demanding something from Mac and then getting upset if she doesn’t get her way. I was glad when Mac finally put her foot down and stopped her from trying to control her life, which was something that she should done a long time ago. No parent should treat their child like that, she was selfish and had no respect. Of course I loved romance between Mac and Carter, you could tell by way that he was around Mac, that he was in love with her. Though even I didn’t see the proposal coming but I was glad for both of them, they deserved happiness. I am curious what is in store for them next.

Beautiful story about love and friendship.
