The Dursleys were so mean and hideous that summer that all Harry Potter wanted was to get back to the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. But just as he's packing his bags, Harry receives a warning from a strange, impish creature named Dobby who says that if Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts, disaster will strike.

And strike it does. For in Harry's second year at Hogwarts, fresh torments and horrors arise, including an outrageously stuck-up new professor, Gilderoy Lockheart, a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who haunts the girls' bathroom, and the unwanted attentions of Ron Weasley's younger sister, Ginny.

But each of these seem minor annoyances when the real trouble begins, and someone--or something--starts turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous rival than ever? Could it possibly be Hagrid, whose mysterious past is finally told? Or could it be the one everyone at Hogwarts most suspects...Harry Potter himself.

I didn’t think that it was possible for me to dislike Dursley’s more that I had before, I was wrong. The way that they treat Harry, way they seem to torture to me is wrong. It’s no wonder that he looks towards Hogwarts, I would want get away if I was in his situation. At same time I am curious if there is reason, for their behavior besides him being Wizard. I do have feeling that they are ashamed of him, of what their friends and neighbors think of them if they found out. They need get a taste of their own medicine, and then they would know how he feels. They are the people that are hard to like, they seem to get more mean in each book. Good thing that Ron and his brothers came to his rescue before the term started, at least he could have a bit of summertime fun. It wouldn’t be Weasley if they didn’t manage to get in some sort of trouble.

From minute that Dobby appeared and warned Harry about not going back to Hogwarts, I knew that something would go wrong minute he stepped inside. Of course I didn’t think that almost everything bad that happened to Harry, was Dobby’s doing. I was sure that Harry would leave, and that’s what Dobby wanted it but didn’t work out how he wanted. I was glad that Harry tricked Lucius at end, to free Dobby; it’s no wonder that he was afraid half of the time. I wouldn’t want work for anyone like Lucius Malfoy either. I was bit surprised that he still did it, despite all the trouble that he caused for Harry, try to get him to leave the school. At same time he was trying to safe Harry, to warn him to stay away. As I read the book, I could see why, considering what happened towards the end.

I was sure that Draco was one who opened Chamber Of Secrets, or his father. I even suspected it that it could been Snape. Ginny was last person I suspected it, but of course she didn’t know what was happening, what was going on till almost the end. Tom Riddle tricked her, who I would never guess is Voldemort, which had taken me by surprise. I can see why he was such powerful dark wizard. He almost killed Harry and Ginny, I am sure that he would have killed her if Harry and his friends didn’t get to her first. He found a way to trick her, almost killing her on her first year in Hogwarts. Harry Potter & The Chamber Of Secrets was filled with much more action and there was a lot suspense. Each page had me wondering what’s going happen next with everyone. What adventures they would have to face next.
