New soul

Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

No soul

Even Ana’s own mother thinks she’s a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she’ll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

Heart

Sam believes Ana’s new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana’s enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else’s life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

Breathtaking. I had always loved books that had to do with different lives. I had read few before but this was unlike other novels that I read before. Unlike other books, where they only had past lives, these souls had multiple past lives and different ones. One life they were young, other old and other women, men. I thought that it was interesting, and it was fascinating for me to read about, could not pull away myself away from the book. I already know that Newsoul series is a series that I am going to love. I’m already wondering what’s going to happen in Asunder, especially way that Increate ended. It’s an ending that has the reader wondering what’s next for Ana, Sam, Stef. I heard about series for a while and saw quite few good reviews. Once I started it reading it, glad that I had finally picked it up. It’s completely different from any on young adult fantasy books that I read before. Incarnate has romance, action, mystery, suspense which is everything that I love in the book.

Ana & Sam : I had a feeling that there was connection between two of them, when Sam saved her and when she saved him. I had a big feeling that Sam felt something from her from start, otherwise why would he save a complete stranger? There was a thought in back of my mind that Sam felt something for Ana. I knew that Ana did just by way she reacted at times when she was around Sam. Despite Sam trying to deny his feelings for her at first, he was always there for her, no matter what and she was there for him when he faced his fears. Right then I knew that what the two of them had was love. When Sam was accused of trying to get Ana killed, I had a suspicion that there wasn’t something right about that, somehow he was getting set up. Sam loved her, knew that he did. It was hard for me to believe that all of that was only an act. I hoped that he would be able to make it in end, especially once Dragons started attacking, considering how many times he got killed by dragons in the past lives.

Storyline, characters weren’t the only item that was interesting in the novel, title and cover was too. The cover was completely stunning and it was what captured my attention first. I loved how the girl in the cover had butterfly wings around her eyes, How can a photograph like that not capture anyone’s attention? It’s unlike any cover that I seen before, so colorful just like a butterfly. It would make any reader wonder what’s happening, and if there is a message between that photograph. Once I read the book, I saw how it fit. How it fit Ana. If you love fantasy, this is a series worth picking up and giving a chance. You won’t put it down till the end.
