GOODREADS SUMMARY

A week ago, Dinah’s cousin Claire cut her wrists.

Five days ago, Dinah found Claire’s diary and discovered why.

Three days ago, Dinah stopped crying and came up with a plan.

Two days ago, she ditched her piercings and bleached the black dye from her hair.

Yesterday, knee socks and uniform plaid became a predator’s camouflage.

Today, she’ll find the boy who broke Claire.

By tomorrow, he’ll wish he were dead.

Wow, Premeditated was one of most intense novels that I read this year. There was action in every page; every chapter that got reader to wonder what was going happen next. There wasn’t a single moment where I wasn’t on edge on my seat, where I wasn’t curious what Dinah do next, for revenge. Now that’s real love, friendship right there, that she would go as far, to make sure that guy who broke Claire will pay. Though I did think she went bit far but at the same time I knew where she was coming from. Somebody hurt her family, so she wanted to make sure that they pay, to show that nobody messes with her family. All through book I was left wondering if she succeed, and if Claire would recover from her suicide attempt.

Brooks & Dex : Honestly, I had a hard time accepting that Brooks would do something, to hurt Claire. It was mostly because of his attitude, way that he acted with Dinah but at the same time, I knew that it all could be act. The same act that he put up with Claire before he hurt her. Yet there was something in back of my mind, telling me that something wasn’t right, that Brooks couldn’t possibly hurt Claire. He seemed to nice, to hurt anyone. Now Dex, I had a feeling that something was off about him, especially way he grabbed Dinah that one time, how violent he was towards her. I was suspicious right them, I don’t know how she didn’t see that. Of course I never thought he would end up using his best friend’s name as ‘Fake name’. I was glad that he was finally caught, before he hurt anyone else.

I did hope that somehow in books, that Claire would recover. Though she was in coma through most of book, I felt sad when she died. The emotions in this book when it happened, how Dinah reacted to it, were so real that I found myself crying too. I wanted to pull her into a hug, she looked so hurt, so heartbroken. I think it’s because of that, that everything came out at funeral. I just wish that she figured out earlier that it was Dex. Now I don’t think the friendship would be same like it was, not after what happened, to everything she confessed to. However I feel like she finally got some closure in the end, a weight lifted off her shoulders.
If you love action, mystery.

This is the type of book that will keep you on edge of your seat till the end.
