GOODREADS SUMMARY

Until now, he's existed only in her dreams -
but fate is about to bring them together. I shove through the crowd, knocking into girls and bouncing off boys, until one in particular catches me, steadies me.
I feel so secure, so at home in his arms.

I melt against his chest-lift my gaze to meet his. Gasping when I stare into a pair of icy blue eyes banded by brilliant flecks of gold that shine like kaleidoscopes, reflecting my image thousands of times.
The boy from my dream.

The one who died in my arms. Strange things are happening to Daire Santos. Crows mock her, glowing people stalk her, time stops without warning, and a beautiful boy with unearthly blue eyes haunts all her dreams. Fearing for her daughter’s sanity, Daire’s mother sends her to live with the grandmother she’s never met. A woman who recognizes the visions for what they truly are—the call to her destiny as a Soul Seeker—one who can navigate the worlds between the living and dead.
There on the dusty plains of Enchantment, New Mexico, Daire sets out to harness her mystical powers. But it’s when she meets Dace, the boy from her dreams, that her whole world is shaken to its core. Now Daire is forced to discover if Dace is the one guy she's meant to be with...or if he’s allied with the enemy she's destined to destroy.

Another great series by Alyson Noel. I loved The Immortals series which I read few years earlier. When I heard about Soul Seekers, I was excited since I love the author. The storyline was unlike any of other books that I have read, and different from the other series that she wrote. I had a feeling that I was going to love it from moment I read the summary. Fated seemed to have more adventure, suspense then romance and it kept me engaged, it had me wondering what was going to happen next. Once I got to last page, I was craving to pick up next book in the series. I can’t wait to see how it turns out, where Daire’s journey will lead her next. If she will succeed.

Daire, Paloma, Jennika : All of those relationships between them were different. I noticed how much it changed as the book progressed. For example, in the beginning of novel, Daire wanted nothing but to get out from there, to get away from her grandmother. By the end, the two of them had a special bond and Daire wanted to stay. She saved her soul and if that’s not love, what is? I got a feeling that their bond will become even stronger. It felt bit weird having Daire call her mother by her name, but most of time, the two of them seemed to be more like friends, well till she got send to her grandmothers. After that, it seemed like their relationship became strained. Despite me not liking how Jennika handle some situations, I know she did it because she loves me. I am curious to see if their relationship will change.

Daire & Dace: Loved how their names matched, sort of. Of course it all made sense towards the end when Paloma said that they were Fated. I’m not quite convinced that she loves him, at least not yet. Way they kept crossing each other paths, even before they met, did look like one way or another that they would end up together. I could tell that he cared about her too, by way he always seemed to come to her rescue, at most unexpected time. I feel like with Dace at her side, knowing what she is, it will be easier to deal with everything. I know that their journey is far from over. I am rooting for them to stay together, to make it till the end.

There were few slow parts, that got me lose interest for bit. Otherwise it was a great read. If you love Fantasy and time travel, which in way this is, along with romance, pick it up today. You will be craving for more by the end.

GOODREADS SUMMARY
In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue--Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is--she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are--and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves . . . or it might destroy her.

WOW. This book was breath taking. I have gone through so many emotions while reading this book. Anger, sadness, fear, happiness. I been hearing about this series for the past year, but haven’t had a chance to check it out. Now I see why so many are talking about this series. It was the best book that I read this year. I read quite few dystopian novels in the past couple years but Divergent is my favorite. I enjoyed it more than the hunger games. This one seemed to be action packed, right from the beginning. Roth knows how to suck you into the story. When I read the storyline, I wasn’t sure if I like it, and now I am glad that I gave it a chance. There wasn’t anything in this novel that I didn’t like.

Tris & Four: I did not see their relationship coming, not at first. I could tell that Tris was attracted to him from beginning, just by the way she acted when she was around him. Now, Four I didn’t think that he felt the same about her, to me it felt like he wasn’t her biggest fan. As book progressed, I could tell that he cared her, way that she cared about him. I loved their relationship, at times it felt sort of like hate love sort of relationship. I knew it was only because he was instructor, and in way he was protecting her because if everyone knew that there was something between them, they would assume he is favored her. More books progressed, I could tell that their feelings increased for one another, because of how they wanted protect each other. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them next.

I loved how action packed this novel was. There wasn’t a page where there wasn’t something going on. I loved the initiation process, to see what tasks they will have to face, and what they are willing to do, to get ahead. It’s one of reasons I dislike Peter, not only his attitude but that he go as far, as to kill someone. I kind of hoped that he would be one of people who get cut towards end. Even if this was a fantasy novel, it felt real to me. All the emotions that they were going through, especially when they were under hallucinations. Roth described everything so well; I saw everything as if it was happening in front of me.
A breath taking novel, I can’t wait till the movie comes out. If you love dystopian, adventure with romance in the mix, this is book for you. You will be hooked till the end, and even then you be craving for more.

GOODREADS SUMMARY

Welcome to New York City's Upper East Side, where the girls are dazzling, the guys are gorgeous, and the summer heat is the perfect excuse to throw a fabulous roof-deck pool party. As if we need a reason! It’s our last summer together before heading off to college, and things are sizzling -- no, it's not just the weather.

Despite that steamy kiss on graduation night, Blair, Serena, and Nate have gone their separate ways...though not for long. Blair is off to London with her English Lord boyfriend, Serena's about to become a movie star -- as if she wasn't a star already! -- and Nate's rolling up his well-worn khakis and heading to the Hamptons. Back in New York, Dan and Vanessa are rekindling their love. Fiery! Watch out, this summer is going to be hotter than ever.

I didn’t think that this series could get more interesting than it was already. I was wrong. Only In Your Dreams was filled with even more drama, more gossip then the previous books. I’m in love with this series. I feel like I can connect with most of the characters by now. Before this book, I wasn’t too fond of Serena, I felt like I didn’t know much about her. It felt to me that the author wasn’t giving us much information on the character. In this book, I felt like I finally got to know her a bit more and she grew on me. I was glad see she had someone else as love interest, besides Nate for chance.

I loved reading about characters, out of high school. I was curious how their summer would go. I kind of wish that there was more story with Chuck, he doesn’t even seem like he’s part of story half of time, he’s not mentioned much. I hope there will be more about him in next few books. Also Nate, his storyline seems a bit plain to me, and maybe that’s why I don’t like him much. There isn’t much to know about him. Blair, I was sure that she found someone else besides Nate to love. I think she overacted just a bit. At same time I am not surprised, since she used to be a center of attention.

This is type of a book that you won’t be able to put down, till you reach the end. Even once you do, you will keep on wondering what’s going happen next. I know that I want to see how all them adjust to college life. If Blair and Nate end up together, if Dan and Vanessa get back together or remain friends. Only In Your Dreams is another great addition to Gossip Girl Series.

GOODREADS SUMMARY
Welcome to New York City's Upper East Side, where my friends and I get everything -- and everyone -- we want. Snagging the latest Marc Jacobs bag or your best friend's boyfriend isn't pretty, but it's always hot...It's almost graduation and our lives are really heating up. Everybody's into college and it's obviously time to party -- as if we hadn't been doing that already!

Will Blair and Nate's love affair continue? More importantly, will Blair finally get into Yale? Or will Nate and Serena hook up in New Haven and leave Blair alone in the city? And as for the juiciest scoop of all, what's this we hear about Jenny leaving Constance Billard to go to boarding school? Only time will tell how everyone will end up, but one thing's for sure: love is in the air, and it smells a lot like Gucci Envy.

More I read this series, more I fall in love with it. Gossip Girl is one of my all-time favorites now. In beginning I was bit hesitant about reading series, cause I love the TV show and afraid it ruin it for me. I am glad that I gave it a chance. Now that I started reading it, I can’t get enough of it, I want to keep on reading, to see what happens with everyone next, what pact they will take. Gossip Girl is type of series that will keep you engaged, till the end. Nothing Will Keep Us Together, was like that, from the start till the end. The ending had the most unexpected twist and it made me to pick up the next book.

I wasn’t big fan of Nate, mostly because I hated the way that he treated Blair, way that he kept hurting her. In this book I actually felt sorry for him, even if he was with Serena, he wasn’t happy and I could tell that it wasn’t who he wanted to be with. I could tell that he loved Blair, even if he didn’t tell her; I just had that feeling, because of how he was acting. I hope that he can find something, or someone who will actually make him happy. But at this point I feel like there isn’t anybody that will make him happy. It was bit hard for me to imagine, a guy like Nate, crying. It threw me off a bit. At same time, it made me want to pull him into a hug. Maybe the rehab over summer will help him.

Blair: I was happy to see that she found someone else, besides Nate that made her happy. I was sure that she would end up back with Nate by the end of the book. I got feeling that maybe Blair cares for Marcus, as much as she cares for Nate. I am curious what’s going happen between the two of them when she goes to visit him. I am curious if they will remain together.

Now the ending was unexpected. Kiss between Serena and Blair? Did not see that coming, since half of the time the two of them are fighting, over Nate. I am curious to see how that might change their friendship.

I’m curious to see what happens with them in college. If you haven’t read it yet, it’s worth your time.

GOODREADS SUMMARY
The uptown girls are headed downtown as Serena and Jenny take on their new fabulous roles as rock-star model girlfriends of New York's hottest band, The Raves. Meanwhile, Dan is to busy drowning his sorrows in empty bottles to notice a mysterious French beauty who has a penchant for dirty, Jim Morrison-wannabe lead singers.

Blair takes residence at the Plaza to think about her future. Will she become a gun-toting international spy or Manhattan's snobbiest society hostess? Decisions are so difficult! Sounds like everyone needs a day off at the spa. And Senior Spa Day promises to serve up further doses of scandal for New York's busiest private-school vixens.

It’s been a while since I read last Gossip Girl novel,Nobody Does it Better, made me glad that I picked it up again. Though this one started out a bit slow, the first couple chapters, that’s why I only gave it four stars. At first it was bit hard for me to get into it, it seemed to be dragging on a bit too much. Once it picked up thought, I found it pretty hard to pull away from it, I felt like I needed to see what happens with everyone, especially Blair and Jenny, those are my favorites in book. So far.

Blair changed so much through the books that I read. She seemed bit more independent in this book, by taking a matter in her own and determining into getting into Yale, thought she went about it in wrong way. It seemed like she got tired of Nate, of him ditching her. I am curious if that’s why she pretended that she was with someone else, when he showed up. But in way that gave her no right to get mad at him, when she caught him with Serena, especially when she made him think that she was with someone else. Despite how Nate keeps cheating on her, I am kind of hoping they get back together again. Despite that, I got a feeling that Nate does love her, even if he won’t show it. Maybe now he realizes how much he messed up.

I loved Blair and Serena’s friendship in this book, it seemed like they got closer than ever. As if the two of them finally put the past behind them. The two of them were finally bonding and of course then Serena had to go and mess it up. Nate is the only guy that seems to be getting between the two of them. Wonder if Blair let this one go, or if this is going to be end for Blair and Serena’s friendship for good? If she forgive Nate. Way that this book ended, makes me want to pick up the next one right away.

Another great addition to Gossip Girl Series.

I know that’s been a while since my last review. My job kept me pretty busy. I am working with Toddlers this year and they are much more active, meaning more work. Plus I am working later hours this year, so not home till 7:30pm. Then I sprained my wrist, in December so couldn’t type for a while.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. New Year, and I will attempt to do more reviews this time around.

GOODREADS SUMMARY
Galen is the prince of the Syrena, sent to land to find a girl he's heard can communicate with fish. Emma is on vacation at the beach. When she runs into Galen—literally, ouch!—both teens sense a connection. But it will take several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, for Galen to be convinced of Emma's gifts. Now, if he can only convince Emma that she holds the key to his kingdom...

Told from both Emma and Galen's points of view, here is a fish-out-of-water story that sparkles with intrigue, humor, and waves of romance
.

Of Poseidon, is one of most engaging mermaid books I read. I have read few others before picking up this one. It’s my favorite. I fell in love with the story, the characters from the first page. I actually stayed up few times to read it, because I needed to see what’s going to happen next. Even if it’s fictional, all of the characters felt real to me. Especially Emma and Galen. The author made them fell real, along with all of emotions that they were going through in the book.

What captured my attention was the cover, it’s stunning. It’s what got me to pick up the novel. The summary wasn’t as appealing to me, but I decided to give it a chance. I’m glad that I did, I loved it more than I thought I would. The ending made me crave for more, how can you not want know what happens next, after a twist like that? That was unexpected. I haven’t seen that coming. It made me curious, why she pretended to be dead all these years? And what was going to happen next. With Emma, Galen.

I loved that this book was from both Emma and Galen’s point of view. At first I wasn’t fond of Galen like Emma wasn’t, I felt like he was only getting close to her, to use her. I never thought that he would fall in love with him. Of course I didn’t think Emma would either, way she seemed to dislike him in the beginning. But more time the two of them spend together, I could tell how much the two of them started care for one another. I start rooting for them to get together. With an ending like that, I got feeling that things for them are about to change.

This novel is filled with action, romance. Once you pick it up, you ;ll want pick the next one right away, to see what happens. I know that I want to. It’s worth your time.
