I almost have no words how much I loved this book. It was beautifully written, and I was happy that I got to receive an early copy in exchange of review. I knew that I was going love this book from start, and by end my breath was taken away. I loved the first book in series but I loved A Tale Of Two Centuries even more. I’m curious to see what happens with all characters in next novel, especially Cat, Alessandra, Austin. I’m also curious to see of Lorenzo makes an appearance. Rachel Harris who happens be a good friend of mine, has an unique talent. Be sure to check it out, you won’t regret it.

GOODREADS SUMMARY

Alessandra D’Angeli is in need of an adventure. Tired of her sixteenth-century life in Italy and homesick for her time-traveling cousin, Cat, who visited her for a magical week and dazzled her with tales of the future, Alessandra is lost. Until the stars hear her plea.
One mystical spell later, Alessandra appears on Cat’s Beverly Hills doorstep five hundred years in the future. Surrounded by confusing gadgets, scary transportation, and scandalous clothing, Less is hesitant to live the life of a twenty-first century teen…until she meets the infuriating—and infuriatingly handsome—surfer Austin Michaels. Austin challenges everything she believes in…and introduces her to a world filled with possibility.

With the clock ticking, Less knows she must live every moment of her modern life while she still can. But how will she return to the drab life of her past when the future is what holds everything she’s come to love.

First, I wanted to mention that I adore the titles of her books, for the series. A Tale Of Two Centuries totally fits the adventures that Alessandra went through, how different they were than from her century. I could tell that there were meanings for titles. It made sense since she traveled so far into future, it made me, the readers what’s going to happen with Alessandra, if she would actually adjust to Cat’s century, how it would change her. Top of title, the cover is stunning and a bit mysterious in a way.

Alessandra: I loved her since meeting her in My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century. When she first started this journey, I wasn’t sure if she be able to go through it, there were so many more changes. As book progressed, I got a feeling that she can do this. Honestly I am not sure if she got that far, if it wasn’t for Austin and Cat’s support. I saw how much she changed while the book progressed. She had become bit more independent, stronger and confident in herself. I believe it was because of that, she was able to stay with Cat and Austin. Though I knew she miss her parents, I felt like her. It was a century that she belonged in. I was proud of her, and by end of book, became one of my favorite characters. She made me laugh, smile, sad.

Cat & Austin: I loved how Cat was with Alessandra in first book. I loved everything about their relationship. It reminded me so much about a best friend of mine and that made me smile. Fact that Cat wanted to make sure that Alessandra fit in, feel accepted in place that was different from her own, put a smile on my face. I could see how much she cared about her cousin. I felt like they got even closer in this book, even if Less made some choices that Cat disagreed on, and I thought it was cute fact that she brought Lucas and Cat together. Now Austin, what is there to say about him? I got admit, in beginning I wasn’t the biggest fan, especially way he treated Alessandra but at same time I had feeling that there were a reason behind it. Despite that, I never imagined that he grow to care for her, and to love her. But as book progressed, I could tell he started care for her, even before he admitted it. Way he told her about her mother, father, how he always came to her rescue when she needed it, how patient he was with her. I was rooting for them till end. I am curious what is going come for them next, now that they ended up together.

My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century is unlike any series I read before. It will capture your attention and you will find myself craving for more afterwards. Once I finished A Tale Of Two Centuries, I wished for next book to be out so I could see what’s in store for everyone. If you enjoy adventure, romance with bit of historic aspect, be sure to pick up the series today. It’s a read that you won’t forget.
